SANTA SUSANA, CALIFORNIA: When host Jesse Palmer welcomed Jenn Tran to the newly renovated Bachelor Mansion on July 8, she said she was "ready more than ever to meet her person." But when fans got to meet her men too they seemed less than enthusiastic about the prospect.

Jenn spent the Monday night meeting 25 men who brought their own charm. While some flaunted their French skills, others relied on their beatboxing skills.

One suitor introduced himself as the "love virgin" while another thought of bringing two puppies during his entrance. But fans were equally stunned and mostly scarred when Jonathan Johnson decided to walk out from the limo in nothing but a scrub-meaning-he was butt naked!

On X, fans wrote, "Does this cast have especially unhinged energy this season or is it just me lol. Like I feel like so many of these men are going to be problems I can’t wait." Another person complained, "Why does it feel like Jenn got a ton of red flags for her group of men."

One user quipped, "My favorite part of the first episode is being able to pick out which men are the red flags without them even speaking." A fourth person noted, "They did Jenn so dirty with these men."

One user wrote, "This is the worst group of men I’ve ever seen." Another added, "Let me tell you…none of these men are doing it for me. I’m sorry and I hate to sound mean, but most of them are making me cringe and very much giving."

How old do you have to be on 'The Bachelorette'?

The official website of the franchise's creators, bachelornation.com, states that all applicants must be at least 21 years old. Additionally, the program has a habit of casting characters much younger than the star, despite the fact that producers don't cast many 21-year-olds.

What are the eligibility criteria to be on 'The Bachelorette'?

Before being cast on the program, prospective candidates have to fulfill a number of other standards in addition to age. All applicants must be citizens of the United States or Canada and possess a current passport, according to bachelornation.com.

Candidates are not permitted to run for public office, have a criminal record, or be the subject of a restraining order. They must consent to being videotaped around the clock, be single, and be able to pass a background check.

In addition, candidates must grant producers permission to edit any material they choose and share any information they submit with outside parties. This means that virtually every character on the show has the potential to be changed to appear evil, including private details like past relationships, sexual histories, and physical or mental traits.

Even though it is important for the contestant to be single sometimes, the vetting process misses such information and situations arist. On Reddit, a fan decided to out a contestant for their relationship status who was to appear in Season 21.

You're in luck if you're considering applying to compete on 'The Bachelor' or 'The Bachelorette'. All you have to do is to apply to Bachelornation.com is submit pictures, supply your social media accounts, and respond to a few simple questions (such as sharing your weight).

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Nominate a buddy as well if you think they lack the bravery to apply yourself.
