In the episode that aired on November 16, 2021, Michelle chose Joe Coleman, among the rest, to go on a one-on-one date with her. They go to Minnesota, where Michelle was born and raised, and Joe too! She intends to get to know him on a personal note so she takes him to her school, shows off her locker, the framed accolades, and even flips through the yearbook with Joe!

The two go on to a fancy dinner date later in the evening. While there, Joe opens up how basketball had such a huge impact on his life that not being able to perform as well (due to constant injuries on his left leg) sucked the life out of him. Since Joe was always focused on the sport, he gave up on making or meeting friends, meeting a special someone; basically his social life altogether. So naturally, when the news of being cautious hit him, Joe's anxiety and insecurities kicked in really bad.

In addition, he gets very emotional and vulnerable, tearing up while talking about probably the one thing that gives him an adrenaline rush.

Michelle later ends up giving Joe a rose, and they kiss. The two realize how similar they are on various levels, and Michelle adds that Joe would definitely be her crush in school since he's a big-time basketball freak and also really handsome! She is ecstatic that she got to connect with someone on such a meaningful and soulful level and who better to connect to other than someone who shares the same interests and emotions as her.

To end the already perfect date, Michelle and Joe get on a Ferris wheel to bring back the seeming high-schoolers in love. Beyond adorable!

Will Joe be the one to win Michelle's heart? Stay tuned to know more! New episodes of Season 18 of 'The Bachelorette' air every Tuesday, at 8 pm EDT on ABC.
