'The Bachelorette' Hometowns: Fans label Rodney 'husband material'
At the start of any season of 'The Bachelorette', it is hard to tell who might make the cut when it comes to the top 4. But as the season progresses, it is easy to separate the men from the boys, as the former don't hesitate to be themselves and stay honest about their feelings.
With Nayte, Brandon, Rodney and Joe making it to hometowns, now is the chance for them to have Michelle meet thier families and give her an insight to who they are. When it came to Rodney's date with Michelle, it was rather on brand, complete with a date at an apple orchard.

Rodney was beyond excited to have Michelle meet his mother, Carrie and his stepfather, Tyre. His mother meant the world to him and seeing that he felt so strongly about Michelle, Rodney was excited to see them come together. Likewise, Carrie was thrilled to see her son, exclaiming that they are like 'best friends', showcasing how close their bond was. While Michelle was her usual charming self, Carrie seemed apprehensive and rightfully so. She voiced her opinion that by the end of this, there was a good chance Rodney would walk away heartbroken, as he was ultimately competing with three other men. As much as she wanted to be excited at the idea of her son falling in love, the fact that he would get hurt seemed to worry her more.
Fans echoed the same sentiment. "Rodney is a great guy. He can make Michelle laugh all day and he can see a future with her, but I think Michelle is not there with him yet.
