'The Bachelorette': Clare declares she wants to have Dale's babies next, fans call her a 'lunatic'

A lot of fans were of the opinion that Clare Crawley was let off easy as she violated 'The Bachelorette' rules to follow her heart. On the first day, she was clear she had met her husband, two minutes after meeting Dale Moss. In a matter of days, she was sure that she wanted to be with him and him only, and she made it known by her attitude towards the other men who were there for her. A lot of them complained that she never made any time for them and it was "always Dale all the time". The show decided to put them out of their misery by getting Clare and Dale engaged and bringing in a whole new Bachelorette, Tayshia Adams, reviving the hope amongst the suitors. 

'Bachelor Nation' fans were excited to see her on the show, however, they had questions about the Dale-Clare saga. A lot of them felt that there was more to the story and that they connected with each other in quarantine and came into the show, already in love with each other. They were invited to the episode tonight, for a segment, with Chris Harrison who asked them to clarify all these questions that the fans were having. 

Clare once again swore on her dad's grave saying that there was no prior conversation between her and Dale whatsoever. She might have followed Dale on the down-low while in quarantine but she did the same with the rest of the guys, however, none but Dale stuck out to her, she said. She even shed light on their relationship saying Dale "shows up" for her in all situations, recalling an incident from the night before when she had the worst anxiety, had no makeup on and her hair was up in a greasy bun. She said he stayed by her side and that's what she's always wanted. This might sound exciting to Clare, however, fans could only cringe in unison at this response. Harrison then asked them to divulge what's next on the agenda, Dale had just begun to answer but Clare interjected screaming "babies". Dale didn't concur and fans commended him for dodging the question well. 

Clare might be very excited about having babies with Dale but when Dale didn't exactly mirror her thoughts, fans took to Twitter to slam her. "Clare is a lunatic! She said babies!!!#TheBachelorette" said a fan. "TheBachelorette the incredibly awkward moment where when asked what’s next, Clare goes “babies” and Dale goes “marriage” YIKES i do not care for her" wrote another. "When Clare yells out that her and Dale’s next step is having babies before they’ve even got married..I smell a trapped man #TheBachelorette" read another tweet. "Clare laughs at the idea of babies and Dale is speechless. I feel bad for poor Dale. #theBachelorette" wrote another fan. 

'The Bachelorette' airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
