'The Bachelor' Season 25 is not only going to be high on romance but also on diversity. The makers have cast the franchise's first Black Bachelor, 19 years after the show first went on air.

Not just the lead, but the suitresses and the crew too have been cast accordingly, keeping in terms with their promise to diversify the show. One such suitress is Magi Tareke who will be seen in the current season, trying to win Matt James' attention and heart.

This 32-year-old's official bio on ABC describes her as a "kindhearted" woman who's not just a pretty face but also comes bearing a backstory laced with a couple of hardships. She was not born in the United States of America and coming to the country is the "scariest" thing she's done. Magi was born in the African country of Ethiopia.

She was able to move from her small village of Adwa to the US after winning a diversity visa lotto. Her bio further states that she spends a lot of moments giving thanks to all the opportunities and all the good that life has served her and is someone who never takes anything for granted. Whether she ends up with Matt James or no is yet to be known but here's some information about her.

What is Magi Tareke's job?

Magi is a pharmacist by profession. We tried to look up her LinkedIn for more information about her but the Washington resident hasn't updated her information yet. However, it states that she pursued her nursing at Shenandoah University between 2015-2019. Her Instagram bio also states that she juggles two professions. When she's not busy being a pharmacist, she doubles as a model.

Magi Tareke's Non-profit organization

Like Matt, Magi also runs a non-profit organization called My Shoes Your Shoes. According to a report, the organization "provides shoes to underprivileged girls in developing countries who walk barefoot to school."

What is Magi Tareke's Instagram handle?

You can access her feed over here to keep up with her day to day activities. As opposed to other 'Bachelor' contestants, her account is not set to private and does in fact give out a lot of information about her including her modeling work. If you need some good hair and makeup inspiration, her page is certainly the one to look up to.

'The Bachelor' Season 25 will premiere on Monday, January 4 at 8 pm ET on ABC.
