''The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons - Ever!' aired the Season 18 recap of 'Bachelor' fronted by Juan Pablo Galavis over three hours on Monday, September 7 evening. The former basketball player turned out to be quite a charmer at the beginning of the season and had no issues making his suitresses go ga-ga over him.

However, it wasn't long before the cracks in his perfect persona started showing and a couple of the women who came on the show with an aim to find love with him, pulled out stating they couldn't see themselves having a future with him. Nikki Ferrell and Clare Crawley rode it out till the end and were Juan's top two, however at the time of the Final Rose, Clare dumped him over an obscenity he had whispered in her ear during the helicopter date. That was not it, he chose to not propose to Nikki and just said "I like you a lot" in response to her "I love you" but she still accepted the final rose. All of these moments were a part of the season recap episode and a couple of the 'Bachelor' alum appeared to criticize Juan quite harshly. Bachelorverse fans tuned into the episode too shared the same feelings towards Juan and his attitude while on the show, however, a large section also came to his defense, saying that since English was not his first language, the meaning of his words was often misconstrued.

"#TheBachelorGOAT What's with the hate-on-Pablo because he didn't propose to anyone, that he knew for 8-10 weeks? He kept it honest and kept dating her after the non-proposal and she accepted the final rose," wrote a fan.

"Idk if I want to watch Juan Pablo's #TheBachelorGOAT episode because I don't want Chris Harrison to gaslight me into thinking a dude who doesn't flip out if a girl doesn't want to date him is a monster :( " wrote another and no points for guessing this is in regards to Andi Dorfman. After the fantasy suite date, Andi told him that she didn't enjoy herself and he replied to her saying "It's okay" post which she felt really annoyed and said his response wasn't enough because she had put her life on hold to appear on the show.

"Why does the Bachelor franchise have Rachel Lindsay come on the show to say bullying is not acceptable but then in the same breath dedicate a whole episode of #TheBachelorGOAT to tearing down Juan Pablo. He wasn’t the best bachelor, but he does not deserve to be bullied this much," wrote another fan.

"I think Juan Pablo’s honesty and a little bit of language barrier got him in trouble in his season. I don’t think he’s a bad person as portrayed in the show. #TheBachelor #TheBachelorGOAT," wrote another.

"How terrible to trample on the reputation of a man who without speaking English well lent himself to this program. Can you imagine the contrary? You participating in a similar program in Spanish? #TheBachelorette #TheBachelorGOAT #Love #TheBachelor," read another tweet.
