‘The Amazing Race’ Season 33 is slowly inching toward its conclusion and the race is getting more and more intense. Last week, we got to see the top 5 teams of the show after Akbar and Sheridan got eliminated. It was a tough task for Ryan and Dusty as well because they were unable to complete a task and had to go back and do another one.

The latest episode sees the team going through the picturesque island of Corsica, France, to get through the next segment. Kim-Penn was the first one to leave whole Raquel-Cayla was second. The teams had to drive to a beach and meet a man there to eat a kind of cheese that’s famous in the area. The cheese was filled with live maggots and they had to eat it to move forward.

Raquel and Cayla were the first to complete the task while Kim-Penn was a close second. They got the clue and quickly moved ahead for the second task. On the other hand, Lulu-Lala, Natalia-Arun, and Ryan-Dusty were in the second group. Ryan-Dusty completed the task and were in the third spot while Lulu and Lala were in the fourth. Every team puked multiple times while eating the cheese.

In the second task, the teams could choose between two tasks and most of them chose to do ‘Gently down the Stream’. In that task, the teams had to go under the water in a submarine, see the man-made fishes and then memorize them. To complete the task, they need to tell what kind of fish they saw and that too in the correct order. Only then, they’ll get the next clue.

Kim-Penn and Raquel-Cayla reached first and completed the task precisely. Kim and Penn got the clue first and left for the next task. Meanwhile, Raquel and Cayla were the next teams to complete it. The only team to do the other task was Ryan and Dusty. They took a kayak and traveled in the water to collect fish. However, their boat capsized and they were unable to get up on it. Eventually, they were able to complete it, but they did lose some time. On the other hand, Lulu-Lala and Natalia-Arun were together, doing the fish task.

For the third and final task, the teams had to make a fishing net and till the time it’s not stitched perfectly, they won’t get their next clue. Kim and Penn were once again the first teams to win it while Raquel and Cayla were the second.

The episode ended with Kim and Penn arriving first at the pit stop while Cayla and Raquel came second. Ryan and Dusty manage to regroup and finish third. There was a close competition between Lulu-Lala and Natalia-Arun, even though Natalia and Arun arrived last, but Phil announced that it was a non-Elimination leg. So, Natalia and Arun get another chance to be in the race. Even Phil said that he has never seen a team getting so many chances in 'The Amazing Race' history.

'The Amazing Race' Season 33 returns to CBS with a new episode every Wednesday at 9 pm EST.
