After weeks of grueling action, it was time for ‘The Amazing Race’ to crown a winner and the show managed to exceed all the expectations with an eventful finale. Four teams – Kim & Penn, Raquel & Cayla, Ryan & Dusty, and Arun & Natalia – were competing for the grand prize of $1 million and they have to be at their ultimate best to win the competition.

So, the finale was divided into two legs. During the first leg, it was Raquel and Cayla who reached the pit stop mat in the first place. On the other hand, it was Kim and Penn who reached it in the second position. However, we needed one more team to complete the Top 3. Ryan-Dusty and Arun-Natalia were the last remaining teams to complete the last roadblock task of the first leg. The teams had to reach the Sanctuary of the Lady of Our Lady of Cape and count how many columns are there.

The team of Ryan and Dusty was the third to arrive on the mat, becoming the third side to reach the final leg of the CBS reality competition. Arun and Natalia finished the task on the first attempt, but it was too late by then.  Fans were really happy that they have finally got their Top 3 and expressed their excitement on social media. Some of them were happy that Arun and Natalia were eliminated, but some said that they will be missed.

One of the fans wrote, “So long, Arun & Natalia — pretty much as I figured. But I enjoyed watching them.” Another fan wrote, “At first, I was kind of skeptical when they were given a second chance but Arun and Natalia definitely won me over. A positive attitude counts for a lot.”

“I’m sorry if it’s mean but thank god Arun and Natalia aren’t going to the final. They should’ve been (and were) voted out weeks ago,” said another one.  “Arun & Natalia now have the record for the most last-place finishes in a season,” wrote another fan.

Meanwhile, one of the fans said that the three teams in the finale deserved to be there. He wrote, “This is the final 3 I was hoping for of the teams left. Any one of them has a realistic shot of winning. They all have strengths.”

Kim-Penn, Raquel-Cayla, and Ryan-Dusty will be flying to Los Angeles for the last leg of the finale and move one step closer to the $1 million grand prize.
