Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 1 'From The Ashes'

The much-awaited season premiere of 'The 100' is here and Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) has a lot to deal with, including whether she should kill Russell Lightbourne VII (JR Bourne), her mother's murderer? The girl has barely had time to mourn her mother's death but she also seems to be quite an in denial, until she wasn't. Fans were utterly impressed by her vulnerability to break down yet take charge as a leader. We just don't know if she made the right decision.

"Dwelling on the past won't get our compound running and it won't get our compound built," says Clarke who had been offered a shoulder to cry on by both Madi Griffin (Imogen Tear), her daughter, and Raven Reyes (Lindsey Morgan). "Madi trying to connect with Clarke here. Looking out for her Mama Bear. I hope you’re ok Clarke. #The100," tweeted a fan.

Keeping her grief in check, Clarke didn't stumble once, until the whole scenario of Russell's death came bearing down. With the people of Sanctum beliving in the Primes, they want to set Russell, the God of the Primes, free. But the Children of Gabriel want him dead. This dilemma led to the breakout of a civil fight, which resulted in Russell being moved to safety, or so he thought. "THEY BROKE CLARKE. THEY BROKE MY BABY GIRL," tweeted another viewer.

Clarke goes to visit Russell, who now has been moved to the Palace. He taunts Clarke by returning her mothers' ring and clothes. In this scene, we see the vulnerability of Clarke as she breaks down before beating Russell to a pulp. While Clarke's decision may not be from the good of the entire community, her breakdown in that manner had some reason to it. "OMG I JUST REALIZED THAT CLARKE HAS SEEN HER FATHER DYING, FINN DYING, LEXA DYING AND NOW HER MOTHER DYING holy shit #the100," tweeted a fan.

Clarke burning the entire palace was a tad bit on too much, but it was expected of her to lose it. "Clarke, my dear, this is what happens when you compartmentalize. Sometimes those boxes all open at once. #The100," tweeted another fan.

As the room they are in catches fire, Clarke knocks Russell out. That's when Sheidheda takes control of his mind and kills Russell in the subconscious, taking over his body. At this point, the Clarke we know and love had her grief burst out in ways that led her to one decision — Russell will die for his sins. She had rescued him from the fire and had let the palace burn, but will the execution of "Russell" pull through? Russell is already dead as we know but Clarke isn't aware of this. "Clarke went from boring & robotic to cray cray in two seconds flat.  #The100," tweeted a fan.

We don't know what the future holds besides the possibility of Russell's death. But "badass clarke is back and i love it #The100 #TheCW," tweeted another fan and we're here for it.

'The 100' airs on The CW on Wednesday nights at 8/7c.
