'The 100' Season 7 Episode 8: Did Reese form Azgeda? Fans are sure Callie's brother found Trikru's rival clan

Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 8 'Anaconda'
It is fascinating how many theories fans can come up with after just the prequel backdoor pilot of 'The 100' that aired this week on The CW. We met Bill Cadogan's (John Pyper-Ferguson) children, including Callie (Iola Evans) and Reese (Adain Bradley). While Callie is a strong, opinionated woman ready to fight for her beliefs, Reese is starving for his father's attention, doing anything he thinks would please his father.
Painfully, Callie points out that it won't make their father love Reese more and we know there's a sibling rivalry of Blake proportions brewing there. Callie shooting Reese gave us the same vibes as Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos) beating up her brother, Bellamy (Bob Morley) after Lincoln's (Ricky Whittle) death. We think we have just seen the start of this rivalry and the potential prequel series could expand on the sibling relationship. What is more curious is that when Cadogan leads the Second Dawn followers into the anomaly to Bardo, Reese is not with them. This suggests that Reese stayed behind on Earth. The last we saw Reese, he was promising his father that he would get Becca Franco's (Erica Cerra) Flame from Callie, who undoubtedly became the first Commander and leader of Trikru, which was revealed to originally have been a protest group that both Callie and her friend and ally, August (Leo Howard), were a part of.
Of course, fans are already theorizing that Reese goes on to become someone important in the history of the Grounders too. They believe that Reese founded Ice Nation aka Azgeda — the clan that gave us Queen Nia (Brenda Strong) and her son Roan (Zach McGowan). Fans believe the animosity between Trikru and Azgeda could have started from the Cadogan sibling rivalry. Should The CW confirm the prequel series, we can certainly find out.

One fan wrote, "So Reese stays behind to hunt down the flame and eventually founds Azgeda. I guess we're gonna have to wait for #The100Prequel to see. #The100 #The100WeWantAPrequel." Another tweeted, "And time for me to spew my theory... Reese and his followers become Azgeda, hence the tension between Azgeda and the rest of the clans, specifically Trikru and Queen Nia and Lexa. #The100 #The100Prequel #SecondDawn." A fan wrote, "Reese is definitely gonna be the Azgeda leader! #The100 #The100Prequel #The100S7 #The100WeWantAPrequel." Another agreed, "REESE IS FOR SURE THE START OF AZGEDA! #The100."
One fan has an alternate theory, and while if true it could give us answers now, we are not sure the showrunner Jason Rothenberg would make it so simple for us. Moreover, the timeline does not match up. The fan tweeted, "REESE IS SHEIDHEDA IM CALLIN IT NOW."
Speaking of Rothenberg, after Zach McGowan tweeted urging fans to watch the prequel episode, Rothenberg wrote, "I wonder if any of these OG grounders are Roan’s ancestors. #The100 #The100Prequel #SafeBet." Alright, we are calling it. Reese probably started Azgeda after failing to retrieve the Flame. We hope, however, there is a reconciliation in the siblings' future.
'The 100' airs on The CW on Wednesday nights at 8/7c.
