'The 100' Season 7 Episode 6: Diyoza makes a badass return for a family reunion, fans say 'what a comeback!'

Before this week's episode of 'The 100' premiered, showrunner Jason Rothenberg promised an exciting opening sequence. Featuring the return of Charmaine Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic), he wasn't wrong. We hadn't seen the OG Diyoza since the second episode of the final season, and the new scenes proved again why Diyoza is not one to be messed with.
After Diyoza was captured by the Disciples from Bardo, they tried to extract her memories. When she resisted, they tried to break her. But Diyoza being who she is, plotted her escape, which involved her biting the Disciple's neck (and his jugular out) when he got close to her and scooping his eyeball out with a spoon to use it for the retinal scans in the Disciples' compound.
Fans were excited to see Diyoza return and they agree — she is a badass. While some fans were grossed out by the events, others were all praise for Diyoza's tactics. One fan tweeted, "Diyoza is and always was a badass. She just proved it again." Another wrote, "DIYOZA, WHAT A COMEBACK. A page from Vinson's book aye." A fan tweeted, "I’m behind but did diyoza JUST SCOOP OUT SOMEONES EYE WITH A SPOON I CANNYNTNTN THAT IS SO DISGUSTING." Another joked, "Diyoza stayed with octavia for too long she’s becoming cannibal." A fan opined, "Not y'all being surprised that Diyoza took a freaking eyeball out from that dude. She was literally introduced as a terrorist in season 5 lmao." Another wrote, "Diyoza really bit a part of his neck off and carved out his eye I don’t know if I should be scared or proud."
A fan wrote, "F**k yes Diyoza! Best open to an episode yet," while another opined, "DIYOZA IS THE BEST I LOVE HER PLZ BITE ME." Another fan remarked, "Me just remembering Diyoza was a terrorist holy s**t we thought Clarke was a momma bear." Fans agreed with Rothenberg, with one tweeting, "Jason was not lying. The first five minutes of tonight's episode were amazing. Diyoza is fricking awesome!" Another wrote, "I won't get tired of saying Diyoza is the best addition to #The100." A fan asked, "Can't we go back to Diyoza slaying throats? I was enjoying it."
Fans were also happy to see her reunited with her daughter, Hope Diyoza (Shelby Flannery) and Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos). A fan tweeted, "LMAO STOP I WAS LIKE YES DIYOZA THEN IT TURNED OUT TO BE HOPE AND I WAD LIKE SHE JUST THREW A KNIFE AT HER CHILD." Another remarked, "Diyoza grabbing octavias face is something so personal to me." A fan tweeted, "Diyoza, Octavia and Hope are family and love each other so much. Such a beautiful reunion. Heartwarming and full of joy, relive, and love. Please don’t kill Diyoza." Another echoed the sentiment, saying, "The family reunion I never knew I needed."
