'The 100' Season 7 Episode 5: Octavia and Hope are new fan-favorites as their reunion melts hearts
Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 5 'Welcome to Bardo'
As always, 'The 100' doesn't disappoint and while there are some possible deaths in this episode, there were some scenes that just had fans in tears — repeatedly. "HOPE AND OCTAVIA MADE ME CRY TWICE SO FAR THIS EPISODE I JUST #The100," tweeted a fan. While the episode showcased many narratives, one was quite interesting — we got to see what Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos) did while on Bardo. The episode showcased reunion scenes between Auntie O and her little Hope. It's been a while since we have seen the duo together, so many tears were shed. "These hope and Octavia reunion moments my heart is melting #The100," tweeted another fan.
The episode delved into the narrative of when the Disciples kidnap Octavia and Charmaine Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic) and take them to Bardo, a planet they live on. On Bardo, Anders (Neal McDonough), the leader of the Disciples asks Levitt (Jason Diaz), a scientist and a disciple to make sure Octavia's memories were extracted. Even though Anders is as evil as evil can be, Levitt has more of a heart and both are much more interested in Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) because they need her to win mankind's last war. Hope Diyoza (Shelby Flannery) came to rescue her aunt and Levitt makes sure Octavia got back to Sanctum. "Octavia always protected hope and now it's hope who is protecting her... I love this #The100," tweeted a fan. Hope, on the other hand, ends up captured. Hope was then sent back to "tag" Octavia as shown in the Season 7 premiere, and when Octavia makes it to Bardo again she does not cooperate.
"OCTAVIA AND HOPE ARE SO PURE #The100 #the100season7," wrote a fan with anther one adding, "I’m crying the hope octavia reunion. Best thing ever #The100." The episode also shows Octavia later in what looks like a vegetative state as we find out what happened after she saw her brother Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley). "Octavia and Hope producing all the feels with that 'temporary' goodbye. She'll remember her. I'm staying optimistic. #The100," tweeted one fan. It's a crazy episode for sure, but fans couldn't get over their favorite reunion of Hope and Octavia. "Why is everyone so thirsty for Bellamy scenes??? I for one am just enjoying all the Octavia and Hope content #The100," tweeted a fan with another one adding, "Hope, Diyoza, and Octavia’s storylines are the most interesting things this season. Sanctum is boring at this point #The100."
