Couple arrested after 4 starving children found covered in poo with two of them locked in dog cage
While two of the children were found cooped up in a locked dog cage, the other two were found smeared with feces and urine in a barn.
A Texas couple was arrested after police rescued four abused and malnourished children from their Wise County home on Tuesday, in what the sheriff described as "the worst case of child abuse that he has ever seen." While two of the children were found cooped up in a locked dog cage, the other two were found smeared with feces and urine in a barn.
The arrested parents were identified as Andrew Joseph Fabila and Paige Isabow Harkings, both 24. Wise County Jail records show that Fabila and Harkings were each charged with four counts of criminal child endangerment. Hawkings was also charged with aggravated assault.
