Lizbeth Flores: Missing Texas mom found murdered in Mexico with all teeth pulled out and scalp partly removed

The victim's body was covered in bruises with signs of torture. A large rock found at the scene seemed to be the murder weapon

A mother of two who hails from Texas was found dead in Mexico after being tortured and having all her teeth removed. Her body was found just a day after she had been reported missing, the authorities revealed. The woman, Lizbeth Flores, had gone to the Mexican border city of Matamoros on August 9 and had told her mother she would return that night. 

Her mother, Maria Rubio, spoke to Telemundo, saying that Flores had likely gone to visit her boyfriend. When she did not come back and was nowhere to be found the following day, Maria reported her missing. KRGV-TV revealed that police had found Flores severely injured body on August 11 and said that it appeared that she had been tortured. The Mexican authorities were able to confirm that the victim had died from blunt force trauma to the head.

The victim's body was covered with bruises and she was also missing all of her teeth and a part of Flores' scalp had been removed by force, reported Daily Mail. The FBI is also involved in the investigation of the murder which happened in Mexico. 

Flores' grieving and devastated mother said, "Losing a child is like having your heart ripped out," NY Post reveals. She shared that she wants her daughter's body to be brought back to the US so she can personally identify her. 

She said, "I feel such sadness because of what they did to my daughter. The way they left her … The pain that my daughter went through there, in that moment. That’s what hurts."

"She was young. She had many things in front of her, and more because she had two children. I want that, what they did to my daughter, everyone that took part in her death, I want them to pay," Maria added. 

Many social media users have offered their condolences and prayers for the late mother. One such user had commented saying, "Pls accept my sympathies. Almighty Father, source of forgiveness & salvation, grant that our frnd (sic) Lizbeth Flores who has passed from this life may, thru da intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and of all the saints, come to share your Eternal happiness thru Christ our Lord."

Another user also wrote, "Bless her soul lord, and protect her children eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her."

"I don’t like the check points 150 miles inland on the Texas border but this is part of why they exist. The Texas border is dangerous," yet another Twitter user commented. 

Another upset user who echoed the same sentiments also wrote, "Lizbeth Flores, from Texas will be resurrected & reunited with her kids & family. The pigs that killed her will not be in the Paradise. I pray you all have painful deaths! Lizbeth will live forever esp. for keeping her integrity!!! Love Lizbeth!!! FU Pigs!!"
