American indie pop duo Terror Jr is set to release a new song and accompanying video, titled 'Running From The Sun', on October 22 at 12 am EST. The duo teased 'Running From The Sun' with a bizarre visual and audio preview of the track, shared by Twitter channel  PopCrave on October 21. As mysterious as the visual may be, a quick photo of Kylie Jenner, looking dumbfounded, is also thrown in for good measure. Terror Jr has always been a duo who relish being shrouded in mystery. The group gained fame with their identities concealed, and it was once rumored that Kylie Jenner was the lead singer of Terror Jr after their song 'Three Strikes' was featured in her 'Glosses' video commercial. In 2016, they started Terror Jr as a "social experiment." According to band member David "Campa" Benjamin Singer-Vine, he said, "It's a puzzle, and we're gonna give out pieces with each song." So, if you enjoy mystery and have a keen eye for solving them, look out for 'Running From The Sun', dropping at midnight.

Fans were quick to share their excitement for the new single and support for Terror Jr, whom they deem as "underrated." "Yay can’t wait," said a fan and another wrote, "girl i am sprinting". One fan said of the track, "It’s ok probably a 10/10," while another replied, "+1." "I FEEL THE BEAT DROP BEING THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED IN 2020," shared another fan.

Terror Jr have previously teased the track on social media. Initially, the band shared the 'Running From The Sun' cover art on October 18. In the caption they wrote, "Terror Jr presents “Running From The Sun” ~~~ 10/22 ~~~ Drop a (running emoji) (sun emoji) if you can’t sleep and pre-save the masterpiece here" and shared the link which you can find here. Check out the cover art below:

If you've been acquainted with reactions from hardcore fans on Twitter before, you would have noticed that the platform has often been used to throw shade other artists. In another Terror Jr teaser for the single, the band noted their stance against it and noted they prefer to be "in harmony" with fellow artists. Sharing a lyric video snippet of the track, the band wrote "Running From The Sun is OUT TONIGHT @ 9pm pst . . . We refuse to end Ariana or Blackpink instead we choose to live in harmony! :) <3."
