According to a report by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.com, Briana DeJesus’ new boyfriend is Bobby Scott. Bobby is a former ‘Teen Mom’ security guard. He is in his early 40s and resides in Michigan. His current profession has not been revealed on the internet.
While viewers love some relationships, some are mocked and targeted by trolls. It should not come as a surprise for viewers that Bobby lost his job because of this relationship. He was fired from the team as he got embroiled in controversies when his relationship with Briana became known to the channel and makers.
Briana and Bobby's relationship controversy
Bobby got fired from his job when his and Briana's relationship was publicly exposed. The couple reportedly were caught red-handed together by the security team, who informed the channel executives.
A source revealed that the show’s entire team, including the crew, producers, and other cast members were furious with the reality star. Giving an insight on the same, the source informed, “Producers, crew members and even some of the cast members are pissed. Because of Briana and Bobby, so many great people lost their jobs, and those people did nothing wrong. Some of these people have been there since Day 1. It’s really sad and super unprofessional. And now they’re flaunting the relationship like none of that happened.”
Briana and Bobby’s low-key romance
The source said what exactly transpired between the couple. Bobby was working as a security guard for both Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout’s shoots. It was at that point of time when he met Briana as she came to San Diego to commence filming of ‘Teen Mom: Family Reunion’ in 2021. They took the next step in their relationship but kept it hidden and low-key from the cast, crew, and channel. He said, “Bobby used to do security on Catelynn [Lowell] and Maci [Bookout]’s shoots but he met Briana when she came to San Diego to film Teen Mom Family Reunion last year. That’s when they first got together but no one else knew about it back then. They’ve been talking since then, but it was kept on the down low.”
MTV fires old security crew and replaces it with new team
Due to Briana and Bobby’s mistake, the old security crew permanently got replaced and lost their jobs. He shared, “MTV doesn’t usually ‘fire’ someone. They just kind of ghost them. The entire security crew hasn’t been called to work for any of the shoots for ‘Next Chapter’ that have been happening for over a month now. They have hired a whole different security crew.”
Briana on her and Bobby’s strong relationship
In an interview with E! Insider dated August 24, finally breaking her silence on the same, Briana revealed that currently she is in a "mature relationship" with her boyfriend Bobby Scott. This is going to be one of the major storyline arcs in ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’.
Briana said that she finally has found someone special with whom she can completely be her real self without any pretenses. She added how Bobby has accepted her for who she is and she is currently very happy. Briana said, “I am very much in a happy relationship. This is like my first real mature relationship that I’ve ever really experienced. This is a grown man. This is not a little boy you know. He’s wanting to settle down. He wants all these things. I do too when I finally found somebody that I could just be myself with. He accepts me for who I am. I’m very happy.”
