Taylor Swift’s dominance on TikTok

It's Taylor Swift’s world, and we are just living here. We couldn't help but think about Taylor Swift's complete dominance in the world. The 'Wildest Dreams' TikTok trend (Taylor's version, duh) and the 'All Too Well/Champagne Problems' trend have both already occurred. This is an exciting season for Swifties, as the 2021 trend is back in 2023.

What is 'Screaming’ Crying' trend all about?

The viral trend features Taylor's song, 'Blank Space', with the lyrics "screaming, crying." However, the clip ends without going on to the next lyric, "perfect storms." This phrase became a popular sound on TikTok. A TikTok user edited Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space' making "screaming, crying" the ideal response to every unfortunate circumstance. Over 31,000 videos have been uploaded to the sound so far, and all of them are hilarious.

This has perfect comedic timing, and in typical Gen Z fashion, TikTokers are modifying the sound to show us times when they themselves are "screaming, crying."

The main goal is to appear sarcastic because this Gen Z  trend does not mean that they are "screaming, crying" in reality. The trend is all about presenting a relatable scenario in which you are frustrated, annoyed, or otherwise unable to deal with, and reacting sarcastically with "screaming, crying" playing in the background.
