Taylor Frankie Paul, a Mormon influencer who is well-known on the "MomTok" side of TikTok, has disclosed that she and her husband were "soft swinging" with their fellow Utah couples in the latest social media scandal.

The religious influencer's 3.5 million followers were already intrigued by their unconventional Mormon marriage, but the latest controversy has gained traction with TikTok spectators who previously only knew MomTok. The scandal has enraged tens of millions of people across the world. Taylor, 28, said she and her husband Tate Paul are divorcing because of the 'swinging behaviors'.

During a TikTok livestream, Taylor said, "The whole group was intimate with each other. Tate has made out with several girls and other things, and I've made out with all of the husbands and vice versa." She also recounted how the group of MomTokers and their significant others got involved in "swinging" and "soft swinging" during the livestream, which was captured by fans invested in the fiasco.

Swinging requires numerous partners to agree to be non-monogamy, but Taylor's group apparently engaged in "soft swinging", which meant not going "too far", according to Taylor. She's already admitted to "going all the way" with one of the members of the group, as described by Distractify, without the agreement of either of her spouses, which was allegedly against the rules. Despite this, she stated she felt "free" after disclosing her and others' secrets.

During the livestream, she continued, "I feel free, to be honest," knowing that the cat was out of the bag. "It was a secret we had been keeping from family and other friends," she said, referring to her parents in particular. "All my dirty secrets are out and I have nothing to hide anymore," she declared. "We partied, we were intimate with other people."

On May 20, millions of people watched a cryptic video on Taylor's TikTok that implied she'd soon be a single parent, igniting the rumor mill. "My entire life falling apart," read captions over a video of the soon-to-be divorcee loading moving boxes. "And I can't even speak on why … without bringing them all down with me," she said.

Some fans assumed the couple was simply relocating, but Taylor's now-famous live stream quickly confirmed many who anticipated trouble in Taylor's polyamorous utopia. Despite the negative online attention, Taylor, who has a daughter named Indy and a son called Ocean with her ex-husband, is pleased to be generating interest and claiming her 'villain' title as a result of the drama.
