Who are the founders?
Leigh Isaacson and Casey Isaacson are the founders of Tabby. Aside from the Isaacson sisters, Tabby also has an internet personality- Nathan Kehn aka The CatLady working as Tabb's brand manager and director of cat integration, and Davis Sterling too works as brand manager and director of nonprofit and rescue Integration. Leigh, Nathan and Davis will be appearing on 'Shark Tank' to pitch the dating app to the Sharks.
Tabby, which is a spin-off of Dig, a dog lover’s dating app was created by the Isaacson sisters. The app was created after a relationship between Casey and a guy she was seeing didn't work out because of her dog. So the sisters launched Dig in 2018. They launched Tabby in 2020 after Nathan and Davis found it difficult to date due to their cats. On the app's website Nathan mentions, " People always give people with cats a bad name. Calling them Crazy Cat ladies because they are so dedicated to their cats. Honestly, I would love to find someone who is as dedicated in a relationship as cat owners are to their cats.” Davis adds, "Guys like me have crazy issues with dating. I’ve had ladies walk out on me. Like the date is amazing, we go to my house, but then they see my cat Rick James walk out and they want to leave. I’ve been through that so many times—Tabby is something that breaks those stereotypes.” According to reports men with pictures of cats reportedly get fewer matches.
"No matter what happens on 'Shark Tank,' we’re excited to tell the world we’re not kitten around. We’re here to help cat people find love," Leigh shared in an interview.

Tabby app is free, but to send unlimited messages, you need to upgrade to the VIP version. The VIP version costs $19.99 for one month or $49.98 for 6 months (8$.33 per month). The app is available to download on iOS in the App Store and for Androids on Google Play.

Robert Herjavec or Nirav Tolia may close the deal with FurZapper. Although the brand's sales numbers and profit margins will ultimately be the major deciding factor for the sharks on whether to invest in the business or not. So, we will just have to wait and watch to see if the Sharks even make a deal.
