If there's one formula for teen drama that never gets old, it's the good old bullied-seeks-revenge-on-the bully plot. After movies like 'Sierra Burgess Is a Loser', and shows like 'Insatiable', there's a new addition to the category in the form of 'Switched', an upcoming star-studded film.

The official plot details "Tired of being bullied, Cassandra Evans prays that her nemesis, Katie Sharp, the queen bee of social media, would know what it's like to walk a day in her shoes. Her prayer is answered in an unexpected way when they get 'Switched'." Wondering who stars in the teen drama? Worry not, we've got you sorted. Here are all the familiar faces you can expect. 

Denise Richards

The sex-symbol takes a detour from 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Richards joins the cast as Victoria Sharp - expectedly he mother of the school bully Katie, who makes life a living hell for our heroine, Cassandra. The former fashion model turned actor and TV personality is most widely known for her roles Carmen Ibanez in 'Starship Troopers', Kelly Van Ryan in 'Wild Things' and Bond girl Christmas Jones in 'The World Is Not Enough'.

The cruel, conniving cutthroat patriarch from Tyler Perry's ongoing soap opera 'The Haves and the Have Nots' is returning to the big screen as yet another family patriarch, this time for a lot of flippant teenage drama. Schneider, whom you might remember as Beauregard "Bo" Duke from 'The Dukes of Hazzard', and as Jonathan Kent from 'Smallville', is also a country singer. He plays the role of Ken Sharp in 'Switched'.

Known for her role in the 2020 comedy series 'Twenties', Byrne plays the queen-bee bully Katie Sharp in 'Switched'. With a whopping 213k followers on Instagram, the actress also runs a successful food, cooking and lifestyle vlog on Youtube where she brags of almost 10,000 subscribers.

Miya Horcher

It is finally time for our heroine Cassandra Evans, played by none other than the talented Horcher, who is known for 'Fallout 4', 'Killer in Suburbia', 'My Daughter's Been Kidnapped', and 'The Rookie'.

'Switched' premieres on digital theatres and will be available to rent/buy on-demand from September 4.
