LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A cherished character who was mostly absent from Season 2 reappears in the trailer for Netflix's post-apocalyptic thriller 'Sweet Home' Season 3.

Based on the novel of the same name, the story follows a group of residents in the Green Home apartment complex who get trapped while the world outside succumbs to a mystery phenomenon that transforms humans into ugly monsters.

Given the lacklustre reception to the second season, the creators are going to outstanding lengths to ensure that the upcoming season will tug at the viewers' heartstrings and the introduction of this beloved character cements this belief further.

This upcoming season will have the enthralling reunion of Cha Hyun-su (Song Kang) and Eun-hyuk (Lee Do-hyun).

We've all seen and adored Eun-hyuk, who in Season 1 was portrayed as a natural leader among the Green Home inmates, utilizing his brilliance and strategic thinking to organize and defend the community.

Fans have been anticipating Eun-hyuk's return since he remains behind in the Season 1 finale, when the military attacks Green Home, where he is seen bleeding from the nose, an indication of monsterization.

However, there was not much discussion about Eun-hyuk in Season 2, but it was evident that his sister, Lee Eun-yu (Go Min-si) believed her brother was still alive and was actively looking for him.

In the Season 2 finale episode, Eun-hyuk emerges from the debris of Green Home, without clothing or injuries, and delivers a disturbing grin to the camera, suggesting that he survived and is probably a neohuman.

How will Lee Eun-hyuk's comeback will impact 'Sweet Home' Season 3?

Eun-hyuk's shocking entrance in the finale of Season 2 has laid the groundwork for a fast-paced and intriguing Season 3.

His transition into a monster, along with his enigmatic personality, promises to provide great action, suspense, and emotional upheaval.

Additionally, Eun-hyuk's potential strength may make him a deadly enemy, as implied by the show's trailer, which will include a battle between him and Hyun-su.

The reunion with his sister, Eun-yu, will of course be an emotional one as Eun-yu's persistent trust in her brother's survival will be proven correct, although his monstrous condition may damage their relationship.

That being said, Eun-hyuk's comeback is unquestionably a game-changer for the show, and his presence will undoubtedly will have a huge impact on the course of the final season.
