Relationships will soon take center stage after the powerful comeback of ‘SWAT’ Season 4. The two-hour premiere shed light on George Floyd's death and Black Lives Matter and in its first part ‘3 Seventeen Year Olds’ and moved on to interpersonal dynamics in its second part ‘Stakeout’. The biggest surprise was to see Hondo (Shemar Moore) meet his ex-girlfriend Nichelle (Rochelle Aytes) first time after they broke up.

Now, fans can't stop wondering if they would ever give love a second chance. But it's not just Hondo and Nichelle, another couple seems to be on viewers' minds. In the second episode, Chris Alonso (Lina Esco) and Jim Street (Alex Russell) had an awkward moment when she asked him how were things going with the commander's daughter Molly Hicks (Laura James). Street told Chris that they had decided to move in and quarantine together, thanks to the global pandemic.

With the complexities and the awkwardness between the two, is there scope for something more in the future?

Hinting at how their relationship will move forward, executive producer Aaron Rahsaan Thomas told TV Line, "Oh, yes, you have the ongoing relationship that Street has with Molly, and that provides complications between Street and Hicks himself (Patrick St Esprit). You know, Street’s come a long way since Season 1 — we’ve seen him mature, especially through the last season where he lost his foster brother Nate. But that tends to be, for some people, exactly where you start to backslide. So, Street at the start of the season is in a good spot, but that doesn’t necessarily mean things are going to stay that way for him."

He added, "Chris, by the way, through the course of the season we’re going to take her through an emotional kind of whirlwind that’s going to test her in a way that she hasn’t been tested before. And certainly, her and Street’s friendship will be affected by that."

The summary of Episode 3 has not been revealed yet. In a new 21-second promo, a scene shows Hondo discovering two men lying down on their backs. "What the hell happened here?" he asks. It seems like a crime family put mafia back on its heels. Commander Robert Hicks (Patrick St Esprit) says, "It makes them desperate and dangerous." Amid loot and robbery, the news flashes on TV, "The two agents dead, they've got our attention." The teaser shows how the elite forces at SWAT will handle another huge mission.

The third episode of ‘SWAT’ Season 4 will air on Wednesday, November 11 from 10-11 pm ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
