A Brazilian Playboy model widely deemed to have the world's best bottom has been crowned MissBumBum World 2019.

29-year-old Suzy Cortez, of Campinas, was crowned with a dazzling tiara after winning the contest for the second time as she posed in a tiny bikini with thigh-high boots decorated with the Brazilian flag, Inquisitr reports.

Women from across the world, including the USA, UK, Canada, Spain, Australia, Germany, France, Mexico, Portugal, and Brazil, took part in the pageant held in Mexico City to show off their enviable physique and challenge one another to win the title of the world's best bottom.

Cortez won the prestigious title and the runners up spots were taken by Brazilian-born competitors who represented various European countries. In second place was Rayane Laura Souza, representing France, while the third place was clinched by Jessica Lopes, representing Britain.

The world-famous pageant has garnered international fame after women in G-strings, thongs, and racy lingerie battle it out to win the crown. However, it has been mired in controversy with allegations of cheating and bribery among organizers and judges.

A contestant grabbed headlines last year after she rushed to the stage after the winner was crowned and snatched away her winning sash, claiming she had a fake posterior.

The year before that, winner Rosie Oliveira and five other finalists were accused of cheating by using bots to cast votes online.

In 2014, contestants Eliana Amaral and Mari Sousa faced allegations of bribing the judges, but Indianara Carvalho was crowned winner that year.

As part of her winnings, Cortez will take home endorsement deals worth 50,000 BRL ($12,031). The 29-year-old won the Miss BumBum title back in 2015 as well.

Rayane Laura Souza, who won the second place, has a degree in medicine from a university in Bolivia where she works as a doctor. According to the report, she represented France in the competition as both her parents are French.

Jessica Lopes, who took third place, was originally born in Brazil but currently resides in the UK.

The Miss BumBum event was held at the Foro Totalplay venue in Mexico City. That said, it is now going global.
