Nick stepped down from the immunity challenge for cookies and peanut butter handing over the win to Tony Vlachos and fans can't believe that happened.

'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 returned on Wednesday night for Episode 12 titled, 'Friendly Fire'. Last week we witnessed a shocking blindside when Sophie Clarke was voted off and sent to the Edge of Extinction. But the worst part amongst it all was that she got voted off with an immunity idol in her pocket.

Back again this week, Kim Spradlin-Wolfe tried to make some power moves to get Tony eliminated, but sadly that didn't work in her favor. While she discussed the situation and the plan of voting Tony out with Denise Stapley, Ben, Michele Fitzgerald and Nick, during the immunity challenge it all went for a toss the second host Jeff Probst brought in a plate of chocolate, cookies, milk and peanut butter.

This week's immunity challenge was a classic 'Survivor' immunity challenge where the contestants had to hold their hand above their head for as long as they can to prevent a bucket of water from tipping over. This time, the last man and woman standing would win immunity and two fire tokens. Jeremy and Ben were the first two to drop their hands followed by Sarah who bowed out as well.

While the others were going strong, Jeff brought out the plate of food and Kim was quick to drop her hand. Followed by Michele and handed the win to Denise. Meanwhile, Nick and Tony were the only two left, until Nick struck a deal with Tony for a fire token and dropped his hand so he could enjoy the cookies and peanut butter.

Fans on Twitter who watched Nick just forfeit and hand over the immunity win to Tony are shocked and cannot believe that happened. "Nick literally let Tony wins immunity for cookies and peanut butter, cant believe it #Survivor," a fan shared.

"I may not know what it's like to be out on the island or the starvation but why was immunity just handed to tony and denise in a season as crazy as this ???? #survivor," a fan wrote. While another said, "Letting Tony win immunity this is the dumbest group of the best players EVER #Survivor."

"Why did everyone just let Tony have that immunity? #Survivor," a fan added. Another fan shared, "Nick really gave tony immunity???? When there a 2 idols with can be played."

"Anick literally let Tony wins immunity for cookies and peanut butter. I can't believe it! Bonehead move #Survivor@survivorcbs," a fan said. Adding to that another fan shared, "Wow. Everyone kept saying let's get Tony out and yet they throw immunity 2 him 4 PB, cookies and milk. Ik y'all r hungry but that was a choice. #Survivor #SurvivorWinnersAtWar."

"How did Nick just hand Tony that immunity win for cookies and peanut butter? #Survivor," a fan wrote.
