'Supernatural' Season 15 premiere: Dean and Sam are set to fight all the souls in hell and prepare for the ultimate end

Sam and Dean have proved time and again that despite every horrible thing that is stacked up against them, they are able to overcome it

It's the beginning of the end for 'Supernatural' and right off that bat, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are dealt with the worst card in all of humanity: Kill everything they have already killed all over again, while also taking on new souls that have been let out of hell, courtesy of Chuck (Red Benedict).

The last time we saw the Winchesters, they had managed to royally piss off God aka Chuck, and he decided to spite them by resurrecting every evil thing that is dead.

Season 15 of the show is expected to start at exactly that point where Sam and Dean realize just how much trouble they are in. Thankfully, Cas (Misha Collins) is still with them and he can potentially teleport them from the middle of all the zombies that have risen from six feet under.

Meanwhile, Jack's (Alexander Calvert) fate remains unknown. We know that God wanted him punished, and when Dean and Sam refused to do his dirty work, he decided to take it upon himself to smite him.

He is severely injured, and he is in the Empty, but he might also be brought back by Cas, especially since Calvert is listed as one of the main cast members of Season 15.

In the trailer for the first episode of the season, we hear Dean telling Sam, "You and me versus every soul in hell. I like those odds," and honestly, so do we.

They have proved time and again that despite every horrible thing that is stacked up against them, they are able to overcome it. 'Back and to the Future' will also see Sam and Dean trying to understand what God meant by "Welcome to the end".

The obvious answer to us is yet another Apocalypse, but can the Winchesters avert this one? They have stopped many an Apocalypse from taking place over the years, but this one may be different.

Even when the most powerful, dangerous foe was rallying against them, there was a sliver of hope that God was rooting for them. This time around, though, its God that they are going after, so forgive us for not being as trusting as always.

Don't forget to watch the Season 15 premiere of 'Supernatural' on The CW on Thursday, October 10.
