Season 15 of 'Supernatural', which is also going to be the final one, is turning out to be brilliant, despite the polarizing filler episodes with which it started off. The fandom was divided over the boys going right back into regular old hunting after Rowena's (Ruth O'Connell) death but now it seems like there is a reason for these seeming filler episodes. From God (Rob Benedict) seeking out his sister Darkness (Emily Swallow) to Lilith (Anna Grace Barlow) being resurrected from the Empty, the main storyline has been advancing swiftly on the side.

It had seemed like 'Supernatural' no longer has the ability to surprise us, having taken us to Hell, Heaven, Purgatory and even an alternate universe, but Season 15 is proof that the CW show knows how to keep the fans on their toes. Even though it was established early on that God is definitely not the benevolent, perfect father most religions think of him to be, in this final season, God is proving to be Bigger and Badder than all the Big Bads Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have taken down over the years.

He has decided to write his own ending to the world, and Lilith conveyed as much to Sam and Dean in the previously aired Season 15 Episode 5 titled 'Proverbs 17:3'. Nothing the Winchesters do could make a dent in God's plans but Sam is still planning to fight on, much to Dean's chagrin. Sam seems to believe that his nightmares are him seeing God's possible endings due to the link created when he shot God, and hopefully, that will give them an advantage when they take God down. However, they will need all the help that they can get, which brings us to the one thing all fans unanimously seem to want: the return of Rowena.

With the return of the likes of Lilith and Darkness, is it all that difficult to make way for Rowena's return. Yes, she dies a hero's death, but there is so much left of 'Supernatural' and it is too difficult to enjoy the show without her. We sure want to see her return in the coming Season 15 Episode 6, wherein she reveals that after death, she has become the Queen of Hell. So here is to rooting for the return of Rowena, the Queen of Hell, on 'Supernatural', when 'Golden Time' airs on Thursday, November 21, on The CW.
