Spoilers for 'Supernatural' Season 15 Episode 19: 'Inherit the Earth'

After tearing the most beloved aspect of the show away from fans, 'Supernatural' decided to gift them one last consolation prize in the form of getting Jack and Cas their show-equivalent of a Hollywood walk-of-fame star. Right at the end of Episode 19 titled 'Inherit the Earth', we see along with Sam and Dean's names carved on their signature table, there's Cas and Jack's names right next to them too - something that send fans into an emotional Frenzy, part wanting Cas back and part not wanting Jack to die.

As per The CW synopsis, "Everything is on the line as the battle against God continues; and a familiar face returns to join the fight.” The familiar face refers to Michael, of course, who engages in the ultimate war with the Devil, killing him, before getting killed by his own father, Chuck, who was summoned through spells from Sam. The Chuck vs Winchester brothers face off also gets really tense really fast, with the brothers refusing to back down despite Chuck throwing blow after blow, raining a bloodbath on them. It is only in the final moments of the fight that Chuck realizes there's no getting out, and caves in - admitting its an honor to die at the hands of the Winchester brothers.

Of course none of this happens without active help from Jack, who is all powerful - even more than Chuck now. But the Winchester brothers don't kill Chuck; they walk away leaving the man to die a normal, regular death like any others, and that's not all they walk away from. Dean and Sam also part ways with Jack who is God now and assures them he is to be found in everything they come across - no matter how big or small. The episode arrives at a happy ending when Dean and Sam reach their bunker and crack open a beer, smiling, as they are finally free. But it is something else that has caught the attention of fans all over social media. On their wooden coffee table in the bunker, carved right next to the brothers' names were the names of Cas and Jack, thus signifying the roles they played in this journey.

For some fans, this was a big moment of triumph for Castiel, who was so mercilessly killed off through a grand sacrifice immediately after confessing his love to Dean in the previous episode, after 15 years of fans speculating his feelings. "i’ve waited years to see castiel’s name on this table. he’s family. this means the absolute world to me," tweeted a fan. Another noted: "THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. FAMILY DOES NOT END WITH BLOOD." For other fans, it was the small things that mattered. "If I can say “bless this show” for one thing, it’s for not leaving “Cass” spelled incorrectly for all of time on that damn table," wrote one.

Speculations ran rife too, with fans pointing out how "they made it a point to show all the new names carved into the table which means those people are all probably coming back... and the promo showed them turning off the lights in the bunker so they're probably moving out WHICH MIGHT MEAN DESTIEL ENDGAME." But now that the table-carving initiation is out of the way, there's only one thing fans want: "It’s about time they made it to the damned table. Now bring back the angel, FFS."

'Supernatural' Season 15 airs on Thursdays at 8 pm only on The CW.
