'Stranger Beside Me' saw Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) take the dark path in her quest to fix mankind. The Leviathan, a mysterious criminal organization has been teased since the previous season and there are bits and pieces of details that are dished out in the episode. It was revealed that Lena was the one who snatched Eve Teschmacher (Andrea Brooks) and later used her as a guinea pig to install her AI, Hope in Eve.

The episode, 'Blurred Lines' will most definitely deal with two storylines— Lena's plans and J'Onn's relationship with his evil brother, Malefic.  The official synopsis for the episode reads:  "Kara (Melissa Benoist) attempts to mend her relationship with Lena (Katie McGrath). J'onn J'onzz (David Harewood) takes a deep dive into his memories while Kelly (Azie Tesfai) tries to help an old friend. Eric Dean Seaton directed the episode written by Lindsay Sturman & J. Holtham."

There's also this friendship angle that needs to be further explained as Lena vows to use her relationship with Kara to her advantage. At the moment, it is still unclear how she plans to do it, but the Eve experiment was just a glimpse of the horrors to come. So far, we have seen only the businesswoman side of Julie Gonzalo's Andrea Rojas. Her powers are Acrata are yet to be revealed and maybe 'Blurred Lines' will hopefully give us a tease of the famed comics character.

Also of interest is the meta-human, the Girl of Steel will face in episode 3. From the promo, it appears she battles a woman who has powers over the Arachnids and she's got this schway Spider Tattoos. Why is she called Arachnid? Tarantula? We don't know yet. But she's deadly.

'Supergirl' season 5 airs Sundays 9 pm on The CW.
