‘Succession’ Series Finale: Greg Hirsch's witty move saves the day, fans say 'he's the only one with sense'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Succession’ series finale has been one of the most anticipated finales in the history of television. With a 90-minute run time, fans were welcome with almost an entire movie when it came to the final episode of ‘Succession.’ So far, this HBO series has seen several characters come and go, but a few have really stuck around and made an impact. Despite being the underdog, Greg Hirsch, aka cousin Greg or ‘Greg the egg’ has made his presence felt.

Nicholas Braun has done a brilliant job portraying cousin Greg in ‘Succession’ and the series finale witnessed some of his wit, which has often been overshadowed by his cousins. This finale undoubtedly had several noteworthy scenes, but Greg using the translator app stole the show for several fans!

‘Greg, you smart little sh*t’

Cousin Greg has garnered a fan following over his time on ‘Succession’ but after the series finale, that fan following is bound to increase. Anyone who wasn’t on the Greg wagon already is definitely climbing on today. As Greg overhears two Swedes talk about appointing Tom as CEO instead of Shiv Roy. He immediately turns on a live translator on his phone to get intel on the conversation, and reports it back to Kendall! The wittiest move in ‘Succession’ was pulled off by Greg. One fan writes, “Greg smart as hell like he the only one w some real fawkin sense #SuccessionHBO.” Another fan can’t believe that Greg came up with this idea out of all characters as they tweet, “Greg can’t be the first one smart enough to have a translator app NOOOO #SuccessionHBO.” Another fan sums up the emotions as they write, “Greg, you smart little sh*t #SuccessionHBO #Succession.”

Fans continue being impressed!

As the ‘Succession’ series finale continued, there were several scenes that stole the show, with twists and turns at every point. However, fans couldn’t let go of Cousin Greg’s smart move, despite limited screen time in the finale. Some fans could even relate to Greg at this moment as they write, “Gregory Hirsch really is like me that when I don’t understand a foreign language I need a local Siri.
