LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sarah Snook has done justice to her role of Shiv Roy in ‘Succession.’ The last of the three siblings, Shiv was always overlooked at Waystar Royco but still managed to find a place for herself despite the obstacles. The finale has sealed her fate but Shiv fought the system of patriarchy in ‘Succession’ to make a place for herself. Sarah Snook played the role to near perfection and will always be remembered for her stern performance.

Hailing from Australia, Snook studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney and starred in the mind-boggling sci-fi flick, ‘Predestination’, before being offered the role of Shiv Roy in ‘Succession’ by Jesse Armstrong. For her performance in HBO’s prized show, she received the Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film award at the Golden Globes in 2022. Shiv Roy’s journey was tougher than the rest of her siblings and Snook's ability to convey the emotions of the character were what got her the recognition she thoroughly deserved. For now, Shiv can rest as Snook heads out for a new adventure.

What’s next for Sarah Snook?

After the phenomenal finale that took almost everyone's breath away, Snook will take on another empire after bidding goodbye to the role of Shiv. Snook's next adventure is a movie called ‘The Beanie Bubble’, which explores the craze of the Beanie Babies of the ’90s. Snook stars opposite Elizabeth Banks, Zach Galifianakis, Geraldine Viswanathan and Carl Clemons-Hopkins in the movie that captures the story of the brand that took over the plush collectibles.

In 2023, Snook headlined the horror movie 'Run Rabbit Run', which premiered at Sundance and was acquired by Netflix for release later this year. Given the end of ‘Succession’ and a triumphant festival film, she is looking to continue her home run.

When will Sarah Snook’s new project release?

‘The Beanie Bubble’ starring Snook is scheduled to release in select theatres on July 21 and will premiere on Apple TV+ a week later on July 28. However, Snook’s masterful performance as Shiv might just rake in multiple offers for the actress, launching her into a whole new level of stardom in 2023.
