'Succession' Season 3 Episode 8: Will Gerri be fired? Roman in for a double whammy

Gerri and Roman's relationship is out in the open and Logan isn't too thrilled about it

It all happened in 'Succession' Season 3 Episode 8. 'Chinatishire' was all about the Roys fighting their individual battles, but the one that just might see the bitter end of all of this is J Cameron-Smith's, Gerri Kellman. With Roman (Kieran Culkin) sending a picture of his d*** to his dad Logan (Brian Cox) instead of Gerri who sends him a congratulatory message after making the ultimate play to close the deal with Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgard).

This though isn't taken kindly by Logan as he calls the whole affair with Gerri disgusting while also calling her "a million years old". Soon after, Shiv (Sarah Snook) attempts to have a conversation with Gerri about the possibility of raising a complaint against Roman accusing him of sexual harassment. For those who hoped that it would end well for Roman, the double-whammy has just begun and the question now is whether Gerri will be the scapegoat so Roman could be in the clear.

The flirtatious chemistry between the duo has been one of the key storylines in 'Succession' Season 3 and the latest twist caught fans by surprise. The support poured in abundance for Gerri. "If we lose Gerri over this nonsense, I’m going to have very stern words for someone. I don’t know who yet. But someone is gonna get an earful. #Succession," read one of the tweets. "Logan is confronting Roman about Gerri Watching #SuccessionHBO #Succession," wrote another.

"OK! That convo and Shiv’s convo with her - Gerri looked embarrassed - hurt and angry all at the same #Succession," one of the comments said. With the finale of Season 3 slated next Sunday, there will be quite a few plotlines that will make for a humdinger episode. Will Gerri be fired? And will that be the end of the Roman-Gerri romance? Only time will tell
