'Stumptown' Episode 6: Dex's ex Fiona is in town, and fans take a break from shipping her with Grey for one hot minute

Dex, at this point, seems to be going with the flow, and fans love this new development, especially since the creators have actually followed through with the promise of maintaining her bisexuality from the comics and actually exploring it.

Dex (Cobie Smulders) found out some difficult truths about her best friend Grey (Jake Johnson) in the previously aired Season 1 Episode 5 of 'Stumptown' and it seems like despite punching him in the face and him apologizing to her, she is yet to forgive him. According to the official synopsis for the upcoming Episode 6 of the show, there is still a lot of tension between the two of them, and it doesn't help that someone from Dex's past has suddenly shown up.

We saw how Grey reacted when Hoffman (Michael Ealy) came into the picture, and he may have gotten a bit more receptive to him seeing as the detective just saved him from a prison sentence. However, when he assumes that Hoffman and Dex were romantically involved he wasn't all too pleased about it. More importantly, we know that Dex and Grey both have romantic feelings for each other, which they have suppressed for six years now for the sake of their friendship.

The fans ship them so much because of this, and we are counting the days before they actually get together. It seems like the ex coming into the picture, maybe the catalyst we have been waiting for. From the trailer for the upcoming 'Dex, Drugs and Rock & Roll', it is clear that the said ex, Fiona (a famous musician) is clearly not over Dex. We see her dedicating a song to her and even asking if she is involved with Hoffman, and when she says no, responds with, "So, I still have a chance."

Dex, at this point, seems to be going with the flow, and fans love this new development, especially since the creators have actually followed through with the promise of maintaining her bisexuality from the comics and actually exploring it. A fan of the show tweeted, "grey is gonna have to stay away from dex for a hot minute and let me enjoy this ship." This seems to be the general consensus among fans.

Fans' wishes for this will come true when ABC airs Season 1 Episode 6 of 'Stumptown' on Wednesday, November 6.
