'Stranger Things' Season 4 Vol 2: Does Murray Bauman die in the upcoming installment?

This theory comes after Noah Schnapp's tease on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' where he confirmed 'some deaths and gore'

This isn't the sort of news 'Stranger Things' fans would want to hear. With the second volume of Season 4 set to release in July, the show's cast teased major character deaths and one of them might be Brett Gelman's Murray Bauman. Safe to say, the actor can be considered a major figure in the series, especially after his debut as the 'bald eagle' in Season 3. He did play his part in rescuing Jim Hopper (David Harbour) in Russia with Winona Ryder's Joyce Byers.

The speculation behind Bauman kicking the bucket stems from Noah Schnapp's tease on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' where he spoke about Volume 2. "You can expect from Volume Two, we've got some deaths coming, some gore, and a big–" before Fallon cut him off: "Wow, that's a big spoiler. Dude, you just said something that you can't say!" To this, the actor who plays Will Byers replied: "No, but I didn't say who," Fallon then added that there weren't a lot of major characters to choose from. "Well, you guys can assume that, obviously, somebody's going to…" Schnapp concluded.

Will Brett Gelman's Murray Bauman die in 'Stranger Things' Season 4 Vol 2?

It is a possibility that the show will at least kill three major characters as the show hurtles towards an epic end to Season 4. The show is renewed for a fifth and final season, but it might see a few key names missing. As to why Bauman might be the one to die in Volume 2, it may have a lot to do with the storyline he's involved in. He and Joyce may have rescued Hopper and Dmitri from the Demogorgon and the Russian prison guards, but they've yet to make it out in one piece, and perhaps he might be a casualty in the escape attempt.

With Hopper and Eleven almost certain to meet each other at some stage, it makes sense to keep his character and Ryder till season 5. It also remains to be seen how much more Bauman can contribute to the storyline. He's already played a massive role in rescuing Hopper, so it shouldn't come as a surprise if he does end up dying in the season finale.

Who do you think might be one of the major characters to die in 'Stranger Things' Season 4 Vol 2?

'Stranger Things' Season 4 Volume 2 premieres July 1 on Netflix.
