‘We made Netflix crash’: 'Stranger Things' fans have a MELTDOWN after streaming giant goes down

Netflix server reportedly started experiencing a glitch and ultimately it ended up crashing due to a large number of users trying to watch the series

The wait is over and the Volume 2 of 'Stranger Things' Season 4 has finally made its way to Netflix. Fans have been waiting for almost a month to see what happens at Hawkins and how the entire group is going to fight the evil Vecna. However, it seems Netflix was not ready for a rousing response.

According to reports, Netflix faced a nationwide outage as soon as the final two episodes of Season 4 were released. The streaming platform started experiencing problems with its server and ultimately it ended up crashing due to a large number of users trying to watch the series. As per reports, fans faced a sudden crash while watching the series, and were greeted by a ‘Network Error’ message that read that there was a problem connecting to the servers. It's not the first time that it has happened with Netflix, but fans are not pleased with how they have to wait for a longer period of time to watch their favorite series.

As soon as the streaming platform crashed, fans got bummed and expressed their disappointment on social media about the Netflix server going down.

One user panicked and tweeted, “NETFLIX IS DOWN! All the stranger things fandom freaking out rn, we literally made netflix crash because of vol 2." Another user said, “Netflix is down because people are overloading it to watch f**king Stranger Things and I just want to watch Breaking Bad."

One fan said, “BYE I CANT BELIEVE NETFLIX IS DOWN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY WE’RE TOO POWERFUL #StrangerThings.” Another one wrote, "NETFLIX IS DOWN AS SOON AS IT HIT MIDNIGHT I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALL DAY TO WATCH STRANGER THINGS WTF.”

“Streets saying netflix is down because of stranger things. Can’t even relate because i am heavily relying on my illegal website rn,” a fan wrote. One fan said, “Netflix is down holy s**t. Stranger Things vol 2 literally crashed Netflix I’m not even joking tf.”

“For yall on the east coast trying to watch stranger things, ik netflix is down but it doesn’t come out for us until 3am so we’re good for now," a user added.
