MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Porn star Stormy Daniels posted a luscious tweet amid former president Donald Trump’s arrest on Tuesday, April 4. In an unprecedented event, the former head of the state pleaded not guilty before a packed Manhattan court. He surrendered voluntarily and was arrested before the judge read the charges against him. Trump who is running for the office has been booked with multiple felony charges relating to a hush-money case.

The 76-year-old allegedly made a payment to Daniels in the last few days of his presidential campaign in 2016 to keep her quiet. Daniels' tweet is most often heard on a porn set and it ended with, “I like being under my sexy man instead of under arrest.” It was a circus-like atmosphere outside Manhattan court with choppers flying overhead, protesters, and supporters clashing in the streets, and cameras keeping an eye on every moment of the proceedings.

'I beat them twice'

District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s criminal probe had already been attacked by Trump, calling himself 'a victim of a weaponized legal system and a political target by Democrats.' He attacked the latter by saying that the opposition party doesn’t want him to win another term in the White House. 'Bragg is a (Soros) Racist in Reverse, who is taking his orders from DC. I beat them TWICE, doing much better the second time, and despite their DISINFORMATION campaign, they don't want to run against 'TRUMP' or my GREAT RECORD!' Trump had earlier written on his TruthSocial platform last month, reported Daily Mail.

'$8 million raised amid Trump's arraignment,' campaign team claims

The case involves a sum of $130,000 in hush money given to Daniels by Trump’s then-attorney Michael Cohen in the last few weeks of the 2016 campaign. The alleged affair occurred in 2006, well before Trump entered politics and just after his wife Melania gave birth to their son Barron. A conviction is not going to prevent Trump from running for or winning the presidency in 2024. Interestingly, Trump’s campaign reportedly garnered $8 million in donations after the news of his pending indictment came out. His team reached out to his supporters on Tuesday, where they titled an appeal, “My last email before arrest.”
