'Stop trying to be messy': 'RHOP' fans slam Gizelle Bryant's attempts at sabotaging Chris Bassett's image

POTOMAC, WASHINGTON, DC: Gizelle Bryant aka the shady pot-stirrer of 'Real Housewives of Potomac' struck again. The OG housewife surprisingly went after her close friend Candiace Bassett's husband Chris Bassett, by accusing him of reportedly making her feel uncomfortable.

When Robyn Dixon told Gizelle that Chris slid into their fellow 'RHOP' star Ashley Darby's DMs at 2:45 am asking her to visit the W Hotel, Gizelle immediately grew concerned. The housewife revealed that Chris slid into her DMs as well and recounted how he made her feel particularly uncomfortable, She claimed that after taping the previous season's reunion, Chris told her that he wanted to speak to her privately.

Gizelle readily agreed to his request because she believed that her glam squad would be in her dressing room. But when they arrived to her room, she realized that everybody had left. So when Gizelle was left alone in the room with Chris, a married man, she began feeling uncomfortable. Robyn failed to see what the issue was and asked Gizelle if Chris made a move on her or said anything inappropriate to make her feel that way. Gizelle clarified that Chris didn't do or say inappropriate, but just his presence in the room alone with her made her uncomfortable.

Despite Robyn's best attempts a pointing out to Gizelle that Chris didn't have any ill intentions, the housewife felt the need to tell Candiace about the interaction. She later pulled Candiace aside and recounted the whole incident again to her. Candiace too was puzzled by Gizelle's apprehension and realized that jer fellow housewife was using Chris as her storyline. After defending Chris before Gizelle, Candiace stormed off and warned the show's executive producer to not malign her husband. 

After watching how things went down between Gizelle and Candiace, fans took the latter's side. Several fans hopped onto Twitter to question Gizelle's intentions and her attempts at attacking Chris' character. A fan tweeted, "At the end of the day, Gizelle is full of sh*t. If she felt so uncomfortable around Chris, why would she wait this long to tell Candiace and not tell her the next day or the next few days after, if that’s your friend? #RHOP." "Gizelle You tried to make it a issue with Chris ONLY because He DM Ashley. Because why would you wait Allll that time to tell Candace about her husband #RHOP," wrote a fan. "So if Chris was so “inappropriate” with Gizelle, why did she wait so long to bring it to Candiace’s attention and why did she go out of her way to speak during Karen’s event? #RHOP," wondered a fan.

'RHOP' fans found many loopholes in Gizelle's story. A fan pointed out, "Didn’t gizelle speak to candiace AND chris at karen’s spring event? she wasn’t uncomfortable then… #rhop." "Gizelle is so grimy. #RHOP Chris asked to talk PRIVATELY and you agreed to it. Then when it happens you’re suddenly uncomfortable!?!?" shared a fan. " I'm no fan of Candiace, like at all, but Gizelle you're wrong. Chris didn't say anything inappropriate, he didn't come up to you why would you say anything to Candiace about her husband being inappropriate? That was mean. #RHOP," declared a fan. "Gizelle is reaching with this Chris situation, creating an issue that doesn’t exist. #RHOP," added a fan. "Chris isn’t making no one uncomfortable not even you Gizelle stop trying to be messy #RHOP," echoed a fan.
