PROVO, UTAH: Halloween terror struck parents in Provo, Utah on October 30, after a registered sex offender greeted trick-or-treaters fully naked. According to reports, Steven Kelley Little opened his door and invited children inside, completely nude leading to his arrest. He reportedly exposed himself to at least eight kids that night, and might have to many more had one dad not caught him in the act and dialed 911.

Speaking of sex offenders, one in Indiana made headlines after he was found to be married to a woman who was giving pole-dancing classes to kids in October. Days ago, the small Illinois village of Dolton became the center of a major controversy, after the Mayor hired a registered sex offender for a municipal job, that required him to enter people's homes. In mid-October, a sex offender who was out on parole was arrested again for kidnapping and raping a nine-year-old

Provo quickly made the headlines thanks to Little's antics, leading to his prompt arrest. Despite having been arrested on two previous occasions, it seems Little hadn't learned his lessons. Officer Austin Williams with the Provo Police Department told Fox News, "It’s a traumatic event for children."

Fully naked Little invites kids in

On October 30, kids were busy celebrating Halloween in Utah's fourth-largest city. Just before 7.00 pm, a group of children approached Little's house. When they knocked, they were greeted by a fully-nude Little who "beckoned" them inside. It's unclear if the kids did go in, but they reportedly told their parents who were on the other side of the street about Little. One father, who has not been identified, decided to investigate and approached Little's house again with his daughter.

Once again, Little opened the door nude. The furious dad quickly took his daughter away, after telling Little to turn off his lights and not answer the door anymore. He then called 911. Police were able to quickly get an understanding of the situation after seeing a video one child had recorded of the interaction, showing Little nude. At least five children over 14 and three under 14 saw Little naked, a police affidavit says.

"When questioned about why he answered the door nude, he said he had just got out of the shower and that's why he was nude. And they said, 'Why did you ask the kids inside?' and he said that's where the candy was," Provo police master officer Austin Williams told KSL. He was promptly arrested and slapped with several charges, before being taken to Utah County Jail. After reviewing the case, a judge denied Little bail, with the arresting officer noting, "he has proved to be a danger to children and the public with his continued behavior."

History of sex offenses

Little has been slapped with five counts of lewdness and three counts of lewdness involving a child. As he is a previous sex offender, the eight counts are now considered third-degree felonies under Utah law. At the time of arrest, he was serving probation on a previous charge of lewdness involving a child. That stems from a September 2018 incident at the Provo Recreation Center. Reportedly, Little entered the men's locker room and viewed a 10-year-old using the bathroom, while making "sexually suggestive sounds" and touching himself.

In March 2019, he pleaded guilty to the class A misdemeanor and was sentenced to one year in jail. However, the judge suspended that in favor of a three-year probation period, with 45 days in jail. His brother said Little has a mental illness and is currently undergoing counseling. Shortly before he was arrested on October 30, the brother said he visited Little, who lives alone in Provo after their father passed away in January.
