Former President Donald Trump used to call his wife and former first lady Melania Trump after every MAGA rally and ask, "Hey baby, how'd I do?" After each public appearance, it looked like he needed a little ego boost, and Melania's former aide Stephanie Winston Wolkoff reveals that former FLOTUS ensured he got it. It makes one wonder just how many secrets does she hold. Stephanie, who was once an adviser and close confidante to Melania, now reveals that Trump would always call Melania after his public appearances, adding that it was a ritual for the couple to speak on the phone after public events as she'd boost his ego.

Speaking on the Hollywood Life podcast this week, Wolkoff shared, "I believe their way of showing affection towards one another is her telling him how wonderful and great he is."

"She was always his first phone call, always, no matter where she was. And the first thing he’d say was: "Hey Baby, how'd I do?" Like he wants her approval,' she added. Melania would shower him with praise about how 'wonderful and great' he is, Wolkoff revealed. Towards the end of his presidency, it was noticed that Melania was absent from many of Trump's rallies across the country - something that many pointed out was a hint that she had already checked out of the White House even before President Joe Biden's inauguration. But that doesn't mean that she was excluded from being his wife. Stephanie adds that Melania was still supportive from behind the curtain regardless of what public speculation was doing the rounds.

"She [Melania] tells him how it is but she also makes sure to elevate him and embrace what he’s doing, because that is who she is," Stephanie explained.

Melania’s former aide penned a book titled 'Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady,’ a deeply personal account that. among other things, also sheds light into the Trumps' marriage. Of late, there are rumours doing the rounds that Melania might be separating from her husband. But Stephanie, with all her insider expertise, defends saying that there is genuine love between the two of them. "I didn't realise that, but when you see their eye contact and the seduction through that gaze, it's more about that than I think anything else."

Stephanie added that she wrote the book to tell the public the truth about who Melania is. "Throughout the years, Melania controlled her image, created her fairytale narrative, and remained an enigma, which enabled her to play make believe. I felt it my civic duty to stop protecting her and to unearth the "most mysterious First Lady," the world has ever known,' she said, adding, "By sharing my history with her, I unmasked her true identity and revealed an unvarnished portrait of a woman whose veneer I’ve stripped off, leaving nothing but an "unapologetically, skin-deep" woman."

Earlier this month, Stephanie slammed her former BFF saying that she was "ashamed to have worked with her". In an op-ed piece she wrote, "I can't believe how blind I was to the depth of her deception and lack of common decency." Following their exit from the White House, the Trumps have moved to Mar-a-Lago.
