MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO: 'Doomsday cult mom,' Lori Vallow, appeared to smirk in her first mugshot released three days after her conviction on all murder charges following a tense six-week trial in Ada County Court. The 49-year-old woman was found guilty of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, grand theft by deception, and the first-degree murder of her seven-year-old son, Joshua 'JJ' Vallow, and her 16-year-old daughter, Tylee Ryan, on Friday, May 12.

Vallow has also been found guilty of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in connection with the death of Tammy Daybell, the first wife of her fifth husband, Chad Daybell, who was 49-year-old. Following the conviction, she is currently facing life in prison and will be sentenced within two months.

Vallow has pending conspiracy and murder trials 

The mother accused of conspiring to murder her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, will face trial in Arizona. Prosecutors are pursuing charges against Vallow for an alleged botched attempt to shoot her niece's former husband, Brandon Boudreaux. During the closing arguments on Thursday, May 11, prosecutors argued that Vallow killed the three victims driven by motives of "money, power, and sex," as reported by the Independent.

Following the release of Vallow's mugshot by the Madison County Sheriff's Office, social media users reacted to the photo, noting her wry smile. "Can prisoners write to each other in different prisons, anyone know? I still think she's trying to look cute for Chad," a Twitter user wrote, while another tweeted, "Still smiling... almost like she's happy to go to prison."

One user wrote, "Even when she frowns it appears she's smiling. So creepy," and another person expressed their opinion, saying, "What a lifetime of sunbathing, five marriages, conspiracy to commit murder and murder in the first degree, will do to your skin and face."



 



 



 



 

Talking about Vallow's murder conviction, one Twitter user wrote, "Worst mother ever!!! She lies to her family and smiles at the cameras. Murders her babies. If being found guilty on Mother’s Day weekend isn’t ironic…!"



 

"Look at what her rotten soul has done to her face. That's pure evil," a user tweeted, while another wrote, "Pigtails? Really? Dare I ask if she can be any more gross?".
