'Snowfall' Season 4 Episode 2 ended with Gustavo (Sergio Peris-Mencheta) finding his brother and sister-in-law bloodied and dead on the floor of their home. While we cannot wait to see how Gustavo plans revenge against the police chief, fans are still wondering whether he will give in and pay a $100,000 bribe to ensure that the consignment crosses the border into the US every time Teddy (Carter Hudson) wants cocaine sent to Franklin Saint's (Damson Idris) crew. We also can't wait to see Franklin's next step!

Franklin failed big time when he set up an operation that would lead to removing either Scully or Manboy (Melvin Gregg) from the scene in order to ensure that a bigger gang war did not occur in the city. Franklin believes that he can stop the loss of lives if he could take one of the crews' sides and resolve the conflict by setting up another to take the fall. He chooses to support Manboy, but things don't go as planned.

Franklin is not just going to find opposition from Leon who had so far stood with him despite all the differences and arguments between the two, but also his family. His mother Cissy (Michael Hyatt) and his father Alton William had already raised objections to him joining the business again, and as a result, they are not on talking terms with Jerome (Amin Joseph) and Aunt Louie (Angela Lewis). In the previous episode, they also believed that Franklin put their lives in danger by getting himself in the middle of a gang war.

Now, Alton tells his son that he can no longer stand by and watch when his community is being poisoned by the government and his own son. Of course, he is aware of how the government had taken part in the crack epidemic. As much as Alton had tried to rehabilitate the community and provide safe space for those seeking, his son is only ruining it beyond repair.

This is something Franklin is aware of and at the moment, he has also at peace with his choice. He made the best choice from his perspective and that has brought him so far, so to lose sight of everything now according to Franklin is not what he wants to do. However, can he really make peace with the consequences too? From going to jail, being scared of death to being shot his ex-girlfriend for killing her father, there is quite a bit of horrific choices that he had to live through. Can he live through this as well?
