In 'Snowfall' season 3 episode 8 we saw Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) intentionally take a step, deep into the pits of becoming one of those drug dealers who choose murder to silence people who may become a problem to him in the future. He pulled the trigger and shot dead detective Andre Wright (Marcus Henderson) at his home leaving him to bleed to death.

While he wiped all his prints and left the house the way it was, Melody (Reign Edwards), Andre's daughter, seems to think Franklin killed her father. She says so in the promo of 'Snowfall' season 3 episode 9. The promo also sees Franklin get ready to die at the hands of Andre's partner, officer Herb "Nix" Nixon (Jesse Luken).

There is a coroner's van outside Andre's apartment and when Franklin is on the way to his home, which is right next to that of the detective's, he notices the cops and realizes the body of Andre has been found. Cissy Saint (Michael Hyatt) calls out for her son anxiously when she sees him arrive and Franklin doesn't seem to process everything that is taking place.

His mother is not aware of what her son has done, but Melody, who until now was on crack and even skipped home to score a few sniffs, seems convinced Franklin had something to do with her dad's death. She is seen speaking to Andre's partner who was working with him on capturing Franklin and shutting down his drug operation.

He is also the only cop other than Andre who is aware of who Franklin's partner Reed Thompson aka Teddy McDonald really is, as Andre had confessed to him with Franklin's file as proof. Now, with Melody claiming Franklin is behind her father's death, it looks like Franklin might end up becoming a target of the cops yet again and this time, Franklin will be facing the consequences of a choice he made, when he was aware of what this murder could lead to.

Franklin is also seen dealing with this situation alone and this could be because Franklin might have just had an argument with Leon. Since the beginning of season 3, Leon has been uncomfortable about Franklin doing business with Bootsy since he was one of the main reasons why Leon's sister Shon-Shon got a taste of crack.

In addition to this, Franklin seems to have an argument in an upcoming episode about how he will not let Leon spoil a business plan for personal reasons. This could mean that Leon is ready to leave Franklin alone to deal with Officer Nixon's wrath.

As he sits in the driver's seat, Franklin says, "If you want to kill me, get on with it" and he closes his eyes as tears fall down his face. It is clear Franklin is finally ready to accept death, however, will the cop really pull the trigger? For that, we will have to wait and watch Wednesday at 10 p.m. at FX when 'Snowfall' season 3 episode 9 airs.
