'Sisyphus: The Myth' Episode 7: Who is Sigma? Tae-sul and Seo-hae challenge secret organization
At the end of episode 6 of 'Sisyphus: The Myth' we saw how Seo-hae had managed to save Tae-sul from the time loop that his best friend and his girlfriend had trapped him in. Not only did she rescue him, she also seems to have come up with the perfect plan to put up a good fight against Sigma.
Until now, Sigma was only a name, an organization that had been cutting deals with Tae-sul's company when he was preoccupied with his technology innovation among other things. However, after Seo-hae mentioned that Sigma is out to get him and that they are the ones who have trained a gun to his head, he finds trails within his company that leads to Sigma.

Tae-sul also realizes how his technology could have really been used to start a war. For now, all Seo-hae has revealed is that North Korea would use nuclear weapons against the South, leading to a war that could leave their entire country devastated. So in episode 7, they decide to dismantle the secret organization - making use of Tae-sul's technology in the first place.
Seo-hae had earlier helped a random stranger win a lottery and that has ended up saving her and even possibly funding their operation because this young man returns to help Seo-hae right when she was about to be captured. Seo-hae also tells Tae-sul that she did meet his brother and also reveals the warning that he gave her. Turns out Tae-sul's brother is not aware of how she had managed to save him so far, and to stop Sigma, Seo-hae and Tae-sul decide that the best course of action would be for them to cooperate.
That is how Tae-sul also gets a chance to come out in public and announce during a press conference that he is coming for whoever is sitting in the background watching all of it play out. However, who is the person hiding behind Sigma? Tae-sul might not realize yet but his brother Tae-san has been kidnapped. So we wonder if Tae-sul and Seo-hae's plans would put his brother in danger.
While all of this unravels, what really intrigues us is the connection between the present, Seo-hae's family tragedy and the space continum. By stopping Tae-sul from making the uploader, she hopes to save her mother and keep travellers from the other side safe. If we go by Seo-hae recalling her past - she was a child when the war broke out -- she and Tae-sul are from different times altogether and do not have anything common in the present. However, if she is from a different time, why is she dead set on saving him and what happened to her mother? We will have to wait and see.
'Sisyphus: The Myth' airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 pm KST on JTBC and can be streamed on Netflix in the US.
