'Sistas' Season 2 Episode 9 Preview: Is Maurice in danger? Here's what might happen after his attacker visits

With the twists and turns that the series has, we can't wait to see what Maurice will say to the attacker. While we hope that he can call him out, we're worried about his life as well

Maurice was attacked earlier in the series by a man who was homophobic in every way possible. As daunting as this sounds, the promo for Episode 9 'When I Get Home' shows the attacker come up to Maurice (Brian Jordan Jr.) and ask him "remember me?". Maurice was released from the hospital recently after being in a coma since he was attacked in a violent manner. The voiceover on the promo hints at the past coming back to haunt people, so we don't know why the attacker is back to see Maurice again. Although, the synopsis also reads that Sabrina Hollins (Novi Brown) also gives Maurice advice on how to handle "new troubles" but given that the attacker had really hurt Maurice, we're wondering if his life could be in danger again?

"I didn't think we needed to see Maurice's attacker again, but here we are waiting with the hope that he'll be the one laying on a hospital bed -- this time around. I mean, that's what he deserves after all. #SistasOnBET," wrote one fan. Even though the topic of Maurice's attack wasn't put aside - he made a very powerful speech at his return party - no one expected to see his attacker again. Sabrina had saved his life on that fateful day when she found him in the bushes beaten so badly, he was unconscious. She had blamed herself, but it wasn't her fault that the attacker was horrible.

With the twists and turns that the series has, we can't wait to see what Maurice will say to the attacker. While we hope that he can call him out, we're worried about his life as well. But, it's good to know that Sabrina is there with him, she's stood up for him in the dangerous situation before, she'd do it again.

The official synopsis of Episode 9 'When I Get Home' reads, "Andi is uncomfortable with Gary's latest actions. Sabrina gives Maurice some advice to assist with his new troubles. Zac is confused by a co-worker's advances."
