Being a mother is one of those priceless feelings words cannot express and when singer Michelle Branch was mom-shamed, she was not one to take it lying down. She took to her social media account to slam the hater who criticized her for breastfeeding her daughter at a park.

On Twitter, Michelle shared how surprised she was on being criticized by another mother, who was in fact, holding her own young infant. The tweet read, "I just got shamed by another mother (who was holding her own young infant!) for nursing my 6 week old baby on a bench at a playground while my toddler was playing." The 38-year-old singer recently welcomed baby girl Willie Jacquet with husband Patrick Carney.

Talking about her absurd experience while nursing in a public place, she further said, "She said I wasn’t “being modest” I am in shock that this kind of judgement was coming from a fellow mom!" As a reply, Michelle added, "I was in shock, so I didn’t say anything back. I’m fuming!"

In another tweet she shared, Branch said, "...and to clarify, I had a nursing tank top on and was seated away from others. It’s not like I walked into the crowd and whipped my tits out. Being a mom is hard enough. Can we not judge one another for how we feed our babies?"

Following this an army of her fans and followers expressed their support to her. One said, "I will never understand why breastfeeding in public is shamed upon. Babies need to be fed. Mothers produce milk to feed their baby, ergo, breast feed. These people are saying they want infants to go hungry because if offends their sensibilities. Tough!"

Another user said, "Trust me, the patriarchy is upheld by plentyyyy of women. She was probably jealous of the lack of shame YOU felt and decided to inflict it herself. I’m sorry you dealt with that but yay for feeding your baby!!"

A user shared their experience saying, "I nursed my first born until she was 13 months old AND I was pregnant with her baby sister. I can't imagine how she would have felt seeing that"

A wise observation stated, "All the bloody kids sucked from their mums teets or at least tried to when they were babies. Don't think seeing a baby being breast fed would shock them. It's only the adults that ever point it out, have you noticed that!!!"

YouTuber Jerry Stone shared a questionable solution, "Please cover yourself while breast-feeding also: I’m sorry you had to deal with that crap"
