Simone Bryna Kim: Texas woman arrested after being dragged off plane for threatening to attack co-flyer and biting cops
KILLEEN, TEXAS: Simone Bryna Kim, 24, a resident of Killeen, Texas, was arrested for arguing with a man on Frontier Airline flight 2426 which was on the way to Philadelphia on the tarmac at the Miami International Airport on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Kim also bit the cops who responded to the situation.
Kim refused to leave the flight after a crew member tried to defuse the situation. However, cops were then called in to remove her from the plane. She was dragged off soon from the flight and is facing two charges of battery on a police officer and one charge of resisting an officer with violence. Kim will also face three misdemeanor counts of assault on an officer and a trespassing charge. However, she was released from Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center after posting bond, as per New York Post.

What did she yell to the co-passenger?
The woman told a male co-passenger, “I’ll beat you the f**k up. What you trying to be on. I’m going to rock your s**t. If you’re real, show me what’s up. I’m going to beat you the f**k up on this s**t, I guarantee you, I guarantee you." Further, she added, “You’re not even from Philly.”
Even though police intervened at the scene, Kim can be seen scratching and biting an officer and even tried to kick one of them, with one nearly being knocked down during the arrest. A passenger shot the scenes on camera and posted them on TikTok. In the video, we can see other passengers expressing their disappointment and shock over the incident.

Passengers fighting on planes is not a new incident. Recently, two female passengers were arrested at Miami International Airport after an altercation with an airline worker. When the incident was reported, the duo ended up having a fight with the police officers as well. The incident began as a verbal argument when one of the women named Makyan Mercer threw a plastic sign holder at a Frontier Airlines employee after being told she could not board her flight because she was 45 minutes late. Janaeah Negash, 21, tried to interfere with the arrest by positioning herself between the woman and the officers. Mercer was booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail on charges of aggravated battery, resisting arrest with violence, and disorderly conduct. Meanwhile, Negash was arrested on counts of resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct. However, they were released after posting $500 bond each, as reported by New York Post.
