For decades, Simon Dorante-Day has been fighting a legal battle urging the British royal family to 'come clean' about his identity. The Australian engineer claims he is the secret love child of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, from the early years of their romance. The 55-year-old from Queensland was born in the UK in April 1966.

Speaking to Sunrise about his bizarre claim, Dorante-Day said, "People seem to think I’m getting a big name and money out of this, I’m not getting anything out of this, this is costing me to do this. We’re forced to do this because we’re tired of moving around Australia hiding this secret that’s not our secret.”

Though the royal family never responded to his claims, a new photo 'proof' has surfaced that is breaking the internet. Dorante-Day recently shared a side-by-side photo of his son Liam with that of the Queen in her early 20s. The comparison was first put forward by a supporter of Dorante-Day. Now he is also pointing out that the royal resemblance is uncanny. "I think the evidence speaks for itself, the face is what gives it away," he said. Earlier, he also shared several photographs of his youth where he looked eerily similar to Camilla or Prince Charles, and even Prince Harry.

Who is Simon Dorante-Day?

Prince Charles and Camilla Shand reportedly met for the first time in 1970 when the royal was 22 years old and Camilla was 24. However, Dorante-Day believes that the duo was romantically linked way back in 1965, when Charles was just 17.

He claims he was conceived at that time and was born nine months later in April 1966 in Gosport, Hampshire. During that time, he believes Camilla had disappeared from the British social scene for around nine months while Charles was sent to Australia.

At eight months of age, Simon was adopted by Karen and David Day and later moved to Australia. Simon Dorante-Day's adoptive grandparents were Winifred and Ernest Bowlden, who were former workers at the Palace for the Queen and Prince Philip. In fact, Ernest Bowlden was even honored with an Imperial Service Award for his work for the Queen.

It was Dorante-Day's adoptive grandmother Winifred who had told him about his alleged connection with the Prince of Wales and his present wife. "She didn’t just hint at it, she told me outright,” he told Sunrise. He also stated that Camilla kept him for eight months using royal protection. The Firm approached his grandmother for having her daughter adopt the child as he was getting older.

In addition, the British-born Australian claims that he often has memories of being taken to houses around Portsmouth when he was little, where he would spend time with a woman, believed to be Camilla, while his adoptive parents and protection officers waited outside.

According to a historian, the hospital mentioned in Dorante-Day's birth certificate did not deliver a single baby in the decade of his birth and added that the names of his biological parents as mentioned on the certificate were fictitious.

In a 2019 interview with New Idea, Dorante-Day stated that Princess Diana was aware of his birth and she was even ready to go public about his existence before she tragically died in 1997. "I think Diana was at a point where she was finding out answers about her life, how she was wronged, and she was going to go public with it," the father-of-nine said.

Dorante-Day's wife Elvianna completely supports her husband's shocking claims. In fact, he has over 9,100 followers on his Facebook page where his claims and regular legal updates in the case are massively supported by people.

"One of the first things we did was get all the biographies that we could at the time and look this thing up and look at the times to see where Charles and Camilla were, who otherwise could be involved. I did do my research, so the timelines are gaps, people need to come forward and come clean," he substantiated his claims with further 'evidence'.
