Sharon Stone says surgeon gave her larger implants without consent: ‘He thought I’d look better with bigger b**bs’
Sharon Stone has claimed that a plastic surgeon changed her body without her consent after implanting larger breasts on her. The ‘Basic Instinct’ star underwent breast reconstruction surgery after benign tumors that were "gigantic, bigger than my breast alone," were removed from her body. Now in her memoir, ‘The Beauty of Living Twice’, Stone has written that when she gained consciousness after breast implant surgery, she found her breasts larger than she expected.
"When I was unbandaged, I discovered that I had full cup-size bigger breasts, ones that he said 'go better with your hip size'. He had changed my body without my knowledge or consent,” the 63-year-old told The Times ahead of the release of her book on March 30. She also said that when she confronted the doctor, he told her that he “thought that I would look better with bigger, 'better' boobs.”

The memoir of the ‘Casino’ actress also explores her struggle with the stroke and cerebral hemorrhage she experienced in 2001 when she was just 43. Stone told Willie Geist on Sunday Today, “The room was so silent. When the room is so silent and no one's running around trying to fix you, that's when you realize how near death is and how serious everything is.” Though she survived, she reportedly faced a hard time while finding work for seven long years. She also lost primary custody of her adopted son Roan.
“From other women in my own business to the female judge who handled my custody case, I don't think anyone grasps how dangerous a stroke is for women and what it takes to recover. I had to remortgage my house. I lost everything I had. I lost my place in the business. I was like the hottest movie star, you know? It was like Miss Princess Diana and I were so famous, and she died and I had a stroke. And we were forgotten,” Stone added.
However, now she is in a better place with her later adopted children -- 15-year-old Laird, and Quinn, 14. Roan is also now with her. Stone told Geist: “I'm in a really grateful place. When I was a kid, I always wanted to have a house full of kids running and screaming and dogs, and I got it. And I feel very blessed and happy about the life I got. We're happy together, and what's better than that?” before adding, “There's nothing more free than standing centered in yourself. I tell my friends that my new mantra is, ‘It's never too late to become yourself.’”
Earlier, a report stated that Stone was “tricked” into removing her underwear for a ‘Basic Instinct' shot which showed her vagina uncovered. She has written about the experience in her book saying she was asked to come to a "room full of agents and lawyers, most of whom had nothing to do with the project," to see the final finish of her movie. The makers of the superhit movie had asked her to remove her panty before the shot as it was "reflecting light". However, when she saw the scene after filming it, she said, “That was how I saw my vagina-shot for the first time, long after I'd been told, 'We can't see anything—I just need you to remove your panties, as the white is reflecting the light, so we know you have panties on.’ Yes, there have been many points of view on this topic, but since I'm the one with the vagina, in question, let me say: The other points of view are bulls–. … It was me and my parts up there.”
