The popular business reality show is finally back after its holiday break and the returning episode turned out to be quite eventful. Episode 10 presented us with four very interesting and innovative product ideas. From a sleep solution for babies to extreme weather clothing, electric rideables, and a reinvented household item, the first episode of 2020 saw some of the greatest ideas to start the New Year!

But that’s not what made this episode interesting. Until the last pitch, none of the sharks found the other product ideas interesting. Entrepreneur Joe Altieri of ‘Flexscreen’ said his flexible window screens can endure more moving, maneuvering, and wear and tear than regular fixed screens. He was seeking $800 for a 6% stake in the business. Despite being four years old in the market, Flexscreen had only managed to make a profit of 40K in 2019, but they reached a sale value of 5 million.

After a lot of deliberation, none of the other sharks felt that they should invest in Joe’s business. Ultimately, it became a tug of war between Barbara and Lori when it came to offering a deal. Joe went ahead with Lori’s deal where she agreed to an investment of $400K and the remaining $400K as a line of credit but for a 50% stake in the company. This upset Barbara since she believed that it was initially her idea to extend a line of credit. She felt that Lori stole her deal and turned it around.

As the episode closed, Barbara expressed her disappointment by saying that because she is “prettier than Lori” she'll let it slide. Not only that, but she also swore when Joe agreed to Lori’s deal.

Fans like @danielle32113 cheered Lori and were happy with Lori’s decision, “Woohoo!! Closing the episode with @LoriGreiner making a deal!!🙌❤️congrats!!! #sharktank #lorigreiner #sorrybarb 😂”

But at the same time, they were extremely disappointed at such reaction from a leading investor and female entrepreneur like Barbara Corcoran. @coryteague tweeted, “@BarbaraCorcoran #ShameOnYou for going there. So you are saying that being better looking than someone else makes you better?? Way to support women in this climate of inequality. Glad to see your true nature and will think twice about buying products you find #SharkTank”

Lori’s supporters were glad that she closed the deal over Barbara. Like @calliejanelleTweets, “Hahahaha savage move @LoriGreiner! Loved it! Congrats!!!🍾 #SharkTank”

‘Shark Tank’ Season 11 is now back on air every Sunday night, 9 pm ET only on ABC.
