There's no better platform than 'Shark Tank' for an entrepreneur to not only pitch for investment in their company from the sharks but also a haven for showcasing some very unique and interesting products that otherwise we wouldn't have heard of. On the latest episode, a Texas-based couple- Emily and Cole Williams, entered the tank, with a product that left the sharks divided on their feeling towards it, while the fans questioned the need for such a product.

Emily and Cole stepped into the tank to pitch for their company- Slice of Sauce. Their company converts our favorite condiments like ketchup into a slice, that resembles a fruit roll-up. So, one can just stick in the slice between their bread or burger and enjoy their favorite food without the mess and sogginess that comes with using condiments from the bottle.

Lori Greiner and Barbara Corcoran failed to see the need for the product and wondered why they should shell out more money for just 8 slices of sauce when they can get almost two bottles of ketchup for the same price, and decided to back out. Interestingly enough, Kevin O'Leary who considers himself to be "Chef Wonderful", jumped in with an offer. Originally, Emily and Cole were seeking $200K for a 10% stake in their company. Kevin countered it with $200K for a 5% stake, and a royalty of 10 cents per unit sold until $700K is paid. Emily and Cole were understandably not thrilled with Kevin's offer and again tried explaining to the sharks the many wonderful features of their product, such as being "mess-free".

The word "mess-free" struck a chord with guest shark Alex Rodriguez. He instantly jumped in with an offer, to invest $200K, but as a contractual offer with the catch that if they don't hit the sales number they projected then the deal would be considered "dead". Emily and Cole slightly tweaked Alex's offer by asking the guest shark to covert it into debt. Their final counteroffer to Alex was $200K as debt which would be converted into 15% equity when they reach $1.8 million in sales. Just then Mark Cuban jumped in and was ready to make a counteroffer to them, but Alex gave Mark a taste of his own medicine by throwing the shark's signature move of threatening to take away his offer from the table if the pitchers heard his fellow shark's offer.

Emily and Cole decided to take up Alex's offer and chose not to hear out Mark's offer. While Alex was beyond pleased on closing the deal, as it would mean his four kids can enjoy meals without making any mess while the family is on-road, fans however weren't that convinced about the product. Several fans took to their Twitter to question the need for the product, just like Lori and Barbara. A fan asked, "How am I supposed to dip French fries into this roll up ketchup? #SharkTank." Another fan wrote, "Slice of sauce could be the worst idea I've ever heard of. Disrespectful to condiments worldwide. #SharkTank."

Another fan commented, "Interesting idea but I like my sauces liquidy and leaving stains on my shirts. I’m out. #SharkTank." "I'm not sure what the need is. If I'm at home or a restaurant, I can just use the bottle of ketchup. #SharkTank," pointed another fan. "Sauce served like a slice? Yt people really eat different #SharkTank," expressed a fan.
