Spoilers for 'Shameless' Season 11 Episode 5 -- 'NIMBY'

The 'Shameless' Season 10 finale was a landmark moment in TV history as the show's favorite couple, Ian Gallagher (Cameron Monaghan) and Mickey Milkovich (Noel Fisher) finally tied the knot. However, since their return in Season 11, the couple -- better known to fans as 'Gallavich' -- have done very little but bicker over financial woes. Fans feel like their relationship is a bit of a letdown considering the romantic lead-up to their wedding, and believe the chemistry between the two has been lost as they try and figure out how to make domestic life together work.

"Can't believe Gallavich is dead. There's literally nothing there anymore, it's like watching two roommates who can't even stand each other. And f**k, sometimes," wrote a fan online, after the latest episode saw Mickey and Ian get into yet another disagreement about Mickey violating his parole by carrying a gun to his job.

The latest episode saw Ian and Mickey work security for Kev (Steve Howey) and V (Shanola Hampton), which leads them to what may be an even better paying job, and fans are hoping that the end of the couple's financial woes will see the end of their bickering. "I hope the security job is good for ian and mickey it's been four episodes and I'm tired of ian looking annoyed or being rude I know he's stressed because of the money and job situation but I want to see him happy with his husband already," wrote a fan on Reddit.

"Why even bring back Ian and Mickey if you're just going to have them flounder doing not much of anything noteworthy?" wrote another user, adding, "...they are contributing literally nothing and these non-plotlines are actually hurting the Milkovich relationship more than anything. They may as well have had them leave the show again after the wedding last season if they weren't going to do anything with them other than have them bitch at each other."

It seems that all fans want is a few moments of happily wedded bliss after years of waiting for Mickey and Ian to properly end up together. But it seems like the fans are going to keep waiting for a while.

The next episode of 'Shameless' airs January 31, at 9 PM ET on Showtime.
